I had my 6 month check up today too!! Total wast of time. My Doctor does talk much and doesn't offer any help either way. It was basically .... How do you feel ... Well everything looks good so see ya in 6 months. So I ask him about my diet. How many calories should i be getting in and a weight loss goal for me. He said "uh don't worry about calories just get your protein. When you get 50-60 just stop eating then. WHAT??? I say, well I know most nutritionist say we need at least 1200 cal a day to include all protein and water. Doct says, Don't worry about it. It's different for everyone. Just stop eating when you get your protein in. They had no goal for me. I asked what should i be working towards. Finally the nurse went out and looked at a height weight chart and said for my height I should weigh 127-131 I'm at 151 now.

6 month follow up today. I never know what to ask the man. What are some good questions for a 6 month appointment? I'm feeling good and weight loss is slow but moving. My Doctor is not personable he only answers direct questions... Nothing more. I need questions.

We all go through it and its hard to always make the right food choice. However, just remember where you came from and never forget that Nothing tastes as good as SKINNY feels!!! Lol!!!!

Funny story. Yesterday I went Bra shopping. They had a bra fitting specialist from Vanity Fair that measured me. As soon as she put the tape measure around my rib cage she said... "Your tinny" I know I must have looked like the world stopped spinning or something... I said to this lady .. " I've been called alot if things but tinny has never been one of them". She looks at me strangely then I explained that I'd lost alot of weight. I'm telling you.. It felt strange and great all at the same time. It's funny how our brains still see us at Pre op weight. I have gone from a 42DD to a 34-36D. If this keeps up I may have to buy some new boobs. Lol!!!

Takroom- we all understand. We all work so hard to move this weight. It's irritating when it's not moving. So nice to talk with everyone here because we all go through ups and downs.

Thank you Parker- I may have to try the stimulant. You are doing an amazing job!!!! You inspire me. I need to start exercising ????????????????????

Becca- looking so good my friend!!! Someone on MFP suggested taking two fiber gummies plus Miralax daily. I'm goi g to try that for awhile and see if it helps. Plus lots if water!!! Yummy!! ????????????

Time for real talk.... Hope this isn't TMI. I'm not going..... Ugggh!!! I know I don't eat enough veggies but by the time I fit protein in there's not room for much more. I can go over a week without going. That's just not healthy. Ive taken Milk of magnesia and Mirilax. It will eventually happen with the aid of a chemical product but I hate that I have to take them do what should come natural. I even thought that maybe I'm eating too much Greek Yogurt???? (Lots of protein in that stuff) Is anyone else having this issue????
