NGM- buy the 16's anyway. Jeans today are so stretchy. They will be tight when you first put them on but they will stretch. I got I to my first pair of 14's and yes.... I was so doing the happy dance!!!! I haven't seen that size in over 20 years.

NGM I know it's confusing. I use the one at home because I know when I go to the Doctor or Nut that I'm going to weigh more due to clothes, food and liquids. The bathroom scale is a in the morning in the buff body reading. Lol!!!

Parker how much protein do you get a day and how far out are you? I'm watching everyday for it to start. I'll be 3 months on the 12th. I've mostly it's happening when shampooing. I started just softly rubbing the shampoo and conditioner in without scrubbing my scalp. Not sure if it'll help me or not. I'm so not looking forward to it.

Leaks scare the #%%#% out I all of us. Another sleever has ha a lot of problems. She is a size 4 now. About a year out and had problem from the beginning. She is about to have her third surgery. Her tag name is 4alongerlife. Please say a prayer for her everyone.

Zoo I had a day or two like that. The pain was right in my navel area when getting up or down. Went away after that. If it last more than a day or two you need to call your Doctor.

MDM- that's good to know. I guess I need to get my butt in gear and start exercising. Lol!!!

Thank you friends for the info. Hopeful the lessons we have learned will be our saving grace. I know your right... It's continuing to track what we eat, use small plates and stay active that will help.

Question for all the veterans Do you still feel any restrictions? I've read the post about just eating poor choices but in smaller amounts. I know we will be fighting the battle of the bulge the rest of our lives. I'm only 3 months out. I just hope and pray this sleeve restriction lasts a life time.

NGM - glad your feeling better. I too wish I were able to eat less. I'm shocked when I can eat 8 bites of food. I journal every bit of food but alot of times I just stop eating before I feel that tight sensation. I worry about making my stomach too tight. I don't want all that pressure on the staple line. Why risk it? Right?

NGM- my Kaiser Doct is Dr Macik in Atlanta. As of Dec 12 I will be 3 months post op with no blood work. I think they have let me fall through the gap. I will call today and see if I need to get blood work done.

I'm glad you all are talking about this because I was told to take Centrum. I bought the one for Women because if the iron. The only other things I'm taking are a vitamin for hair, skin and nails and the third one I just picked up today is Calcium. MDM didn't you tell me you use Kaiser? My Doct has not ordered any new blood work. I was thinking the blood work should have been done to check up on all my levels of nutrition.

Momofthing1&2 I have the same thing happen after I start eat. I think it's my signal to stop eating. I kind of like it. It doesn't happen the first few bites but then... It starts and I say to myself... Maybe this is my sign that my sleeve is filling up.

I have had a few stalls. The longest was about two weeks that was then only broken by a one pound loss.

Kparker what was your surgery day weight? I guess you and I are loosing about the same. Do you use MFP?

I was two months out on the 12th. Down 31 pounds. Day of surgery I weighed 215 now at 184.

Protein powder. I've tried lots of protein shakes. Some ok and some just too darn sweet. Yuck!! I must say that I like the Body Fortress powder. 60 grams of protein for one scoop. It sort of taste like hot chocolate because I make it with a cup of warm water. Afterwards I mix black coffee with it and it so good! I use to drink about 4 cups of coffee a day. I'm down to one cup now. So I guess you could say my cup of coffee is like protein mocha. Give it a try!
