  1. I was so sick of eating like a pig that I welcomed my prep diet.
  2. Butter bean I'm the same.. I'm always stopping myself from the desire to educate others on what they're eating.
  3. Omg.. what a wonderful outcome to things. It's like a silver lining. Enjoy!
  4. Laura, you're doing such an awesome job with yourself.. beautiful! Everyone one else, too.. way to go!
  5. You mean there's supposed to be more than vertical sleeve talk in current? Lol I just thought it was supposed to be that way per forum.. hahaha
  6. I remember missing a lot of work because of the band.. haven't missed one day since sleeved. Amazon difference. I'm so happy and you will be too
  7. I had a 7+ week stall. Hang in there and remember not to starve your body or it will fight weight loss
  8. Don't give up. Our insurance also exculdes WLS, but even if they didn't I would have gone to my surgeon in MX. Their experience and care have won my trust 100 times over.. Enough to where my girls are going soon and one daughter has insurance coverage here. It's a choice of what you want and are confidant with. Again.. Don't give up and you'll get your sleeve. If you want it badly enough it's yours
  9. Both families look awesome and so happy! Great work everyone!
  10. Oh.. And trending topics are technically not trendy if they're so old. So, again if they're actually trending or trendy or whatever they will appear in the recent comments
  11. I want the entire right column of VSG to be recent VSG comments. I don't care about status updates (if I want that I'll go looking for it) or posts that no one has replied to.(they show in recent comments for their allotted time. If the op wants to bump it they can do it and it shows in recent comments again) There.. I said my rant
  12. GRRRR... I just wrote a huge page on this and lost it. Thank you for posting this.. I can so relate. It's me with an Aussie accent
  13. YES.. Swaddle my thighs! That sounds better than girdle. Actually spanx my thighs sounds even better! Jane.. Make sure you have a smaller size and make sure you have the real spanx. I'm not happy with the off brands
  14. Also, don't forget that with being a low BMI it will be slower. It's like anytime.. The closer you are to goal the harder it is to lose. Your body is fighting for extra fuel.
  15. Jane.. I did the same thing after I had lipo 20 years ago. Took me forever to not want to wear them.
  16. Yep.. Right there with you. I constantly shop in the big sections. I don't consider myself any smaller than before. I've worried about this and will seek help if I continue to lose. I'm not trying to, and I'm ok with it, but in the back of my mind I know the dangers. I don't want to become unhealthy just because I don't see the real me in the mirror.
  17. I took my meds and vitamins at hospital. Take one at a time, 1/2 if they're large but just test how easy they go down. Most are fine.
  18. If your husband is taking time off its probably best to take the days you get home and no one's there to be with you. Plenty of help in hospital
  19. Impressive .. From enabling to staples to sandwiches to book club. Maybe a new thread titled "Etc" should be started
  20. Mm..yeah, that pretty much sums up the white fo'ks abilities
  21. Ok.. maybe enough food afrodisiac. Our journey is tough enough without added mind f'ing lol
  22. I felt as if I never had surgery. It was great. Your job should be fine, but I recommend walking to avoid clots
