  1. Had surgery yesterday, and I feel pretty good. Woo hoo. No toots, just burps.
  2. I am so excited. In 30 hours, I will be in surgery.
  3. On day 7 and I have lost 12 pounds. Sucks but I can tell in inches. Dropping lots of inches. Yeee haw!
  4. Hello all February sleevers, Feel so bad that I cheated on pre-op and now I am paying for it. Been doing two shakes and one sense-able mean a day and I had a brownie. My stomach yelled at me! I digress. Back to my regularly scheduled program. 7 days and a late wake up till surgery....so nervous.
  5. Got my pre op lab results and my tests were excellent except for my iron and calcium. Here's to good health, today and beyond. Surgery date, February 19th. Cheers!
  6. Don't forget about Graves Disease, which is autoimmune. That is what I had. I was very thin.
  7. Beth, Surgery is at St. Lukes, Phoenix on the 19th with Dr. Fang. I live in Phoenix of course....where do you live and when is your surgery? Buffy
  8. Phoenix, AZ February 19th, 2013 @ 1pm.
  9. You are right. Yolo. Say thank and keep it moving if you aren't ready to accept the compliments yet.
  10. I got my date today too. I feel like it is all happening so fast. My surgery is scheduled for the 19th. Best of luck to you on Valentine's Day!
  11. Received a phone call today and my surgery is scheduled for the 19th. I have not spoken with my surgeon since October. I have not talked to a nutritionist, nor have I had an other appointments other than psych evaluation and approval. I am slightly concerned that I am being shuffled along here and being set up for failure. I tell myself that everything will be ok, I just need to breath. I am scheduled for pre-op on the 6th of February. Hopefully, I can get some more answers because just telling me to start pre-op on the 5th is ridiculous. I have been to the classes but maybe I need to put on my big girl panties and stop thinking someone is going to hold my hand thru this process. Cheers!
  12. So, have not been feeling too peachy last couple of days. Insurance changed some of their requirements for surgery. I was scared. I sent an email to my coordinator asking the status of my approval...because I was thinking positive. She said sorry...no news yet. Within 10 minutes of her email, I got another email which stated I was approved. Woo hoo. Chubby girl dance. Thought I would share with anyone reading....all smiles.
  13. Congratulations! Feels good, doesn't it?
  14. You look so happy! When was your surgery? Congratulations!
