Guilty as charged!!!! In in love with my collarbones & hip bones. My only issue is I've lost most of the padding on my butt & that bone really hurts!!! Lol - ill take it though!!! Congrats to us ALL!!!

Good Luck! You got this. So sorry about your husband. Thank you for his sacrifice in protecting our country, just like he's going to protect you now....

Try drinking it not so cold. I'm 9 months out & the taste of plain Water is like metal to me so I have to use a little crystal lite drops for flavor. I always use bottled water that has not been refrigerated. It seems to work for me. Maybe the ice water this close to post op is too much of a shock to your stomach right now. Good luck!

Same here - no drainage tube....

I have been taking Atenenol for my rapid heart beat for 20 years. Took it right before surgery & had it the next day without missing a day. Your heartbeat needs to be in a normal range I would imagine for surgery. Then again, if your having surgery for a bad heart I don't see how it can be in normal range. My point is, it's a very mild beta & don't worry....best of luck to you!

Got my period in the recovery room! Super fun. Especially with the catheter! Lol. Hopefully it will all be good ....

I grew up in Astoria. Work in Manhattan & live in Franklin Square now. Although I'm 8 months post op, I'd be happy to help with any questions you may have. Where are you having the surgery? I had mine at NY Presbyterian by Dr. Dakin...Welcome!!

Sleeved last September at 51 & feel the best I've ever felt. My 21 year old daughter can't keep up with me. 91 pounds gone, walk 2 miles a day, take Pilates twice a week & starting Zumba on Monday! Oh & I'm going to be a grandmother next month. - so we are NEVER too old to get healthy! I was lucky I could walk down the block without stopping to catch my breath. Best decision ever!

I'm with you Laura! I hope you have an easy recovery, but I really don't see laying on your belly would feel good right after major surgery. Just focus on healing..... They have massages in the U.S....Best of luck to you ..

Agh!!! I totally relate to the bum reference. My tailbone is killing me. I have to sit a certain way now & I have extra padding on my chair at work & also have to bring something extra to pad my mat during Pilates. Who would've ever thought I'd have these problems!!! Lol - I'll take it!

From someone who's been pretty sedentary for a lot of years, (Growing up if I was 90 pounds I was a lot- & hated all forms of exercise) - I am loving & seeing results from Pilates, Zumba & just plain walking 2 miles to work every morning. I live in NYC, so it's a lot of bobbing & weaving through the masses! Lol

Sometimes when I take my meds/vitamins or stand up too quickly, that happens. Don't let it go on too long. Call your DR., if you have to...

You have no idea how normal that is. Don't worry, you'll start losing again. Your body is just readjusting itself. I'm 7 months post op & I had a 2 month stall where 2 numbers were just going back & forth. The scale FINALLY moved today. Added more walking.....don't worry!

Congrats! You look great. I'm also loving my sleeve. Best decision ever!!

My heart hurts for the people of Boston. From someone who was 3 blocks from the 9/11 attacks & lost 3 friends that day, it just makes me so numb that it's happening again...my thoughts & prayers go out to ALL of us. The world we are living in now is not the safe place that I grew up in....
