  2. I really like striiv. It allows you to play games (walk more or take stairs) all day to win points. It is a great motivational tool!
  3. I'm 8 days out and went back on Monday. Was so tired that I went to see my GP for a B-12 shot for a burst of energy. To put it mildly, she was FURIOUS that I had returned to work so soon. She reminded me that I had just gone through major abdominal surgery and that the body needs time to heal. As a result of that conversation, I have cut back my hours at work and plan on taking most of next week off. Good luck!!!!
  4. Was never feeling as bad as you do but felt pretty bad. Now at home on day 6 and feel pretty good. Know that I still have a lot to adjust to but I am looking forward to the future! Feel better!
  5. Hello, My doctor gave me a good planning sheet, but now that I have only been home from the surgery 2 1/2 days the food prep is almost overwhelming to me. (I'm not a cooker.) Yesterday I did a lot of research on the web and came across this document that I think is excellent. http://www.muhealth.org/documents/bariatric/Bariatric%20Booklet%20VSG.pdf Most important advise regarding planning is to find a Protein powder or drink that you like. Good luck!!
