  1. I confess that although I love losing weight I don't want to lose my behind or breast! I confess that my hormones or attitude is sometimes out of whack since having surgery....I get mad or upset too easy now! I confess that I'm addicted to the scale! I confess that I'm afraid I won't be attractive when skinny and pray I don't get too thin. I confess that everyday I want to go out and run and have yet to make it...maybe tomorrow!
  2. Wow!! You look great! I need to hit the gym!!
  3. I think health issues are personal and I don't feel obligated to disclose any procedure with anyone if I don't chose to and if people look at me as a lier because I chose not to tell my business... I can live with it.
  4. I planned to keep mine a secret but my boy/bestfriend told his family and I'm not sure how many other folks!!! Ugghh!! His mom always cooks for me and he had her cook me a special dinner before surgery! She's a great cook. But after I always eat so little she must have thought I don't like her cooking anymore. Bad thing is they speak Creole so he told her one day, he says at dinner one night, babe how much weight have you lost since surgery???!!! Whattt!!!!! I could have killed him, but like a good sport I said oh about 25....then began a million questions but they were cool, they just said don't get too skinny!
  5. I feel the same way!! It seems like a chore to eat and I worry that what I eat is going to make me sick, slime or just taste different. I'm not complaining but eating seems so over rated lately!
  6. How was your surgery? Hope all is well.
  7. Check to see if your insurance covers transportation. It's early enough to arrange a ride from them. My insurance UHC covers medical transportation.
  8. I'm almost 6 weeks out and I'm afraid to eat. I now have reflux since surgery which gives me terrible heartburn. But the part that makes eating a nightmare is fear that after two bites I'm going to feel sick! It seems everything now tastes nasty and/ or makes me slime. I wish I could drink everything and eat nothing!! I love the sleeve but I now hate food!! I could have never imagined the day when I only eat to live!
  9. I'm Oct. 16th. It's been good but I developed reflux.....Uggghhh. and sometimes I'm afraid to eat because I'm afraid it will get stuck and slime or vomit!! I am happy with progress so far, I'm looking good! Trying to keep muscle tone. I'm going to try on some old clothes today and see if I can fit into anything new. I'm running out of clothes, presurgery clothes getting too loose and don't look good!
  10. Oh no I get laser on face but am behind on treatments!! I don't want a new beard to go with my New shape!! I pluck like crazy but it bruise my chin and looks worse than the hair!! I have to get back to treatments its the only thing that has worked!

  15. Me too!! I'm almost a month out and I can not stomach eggs at all. No matter if scrambled or boiled! And I love eggs!
  16. This sounds like me! I can hardly eat, anything over a few bites makes me feel nausea. I'm three weeks out and losing well. I am trying to add more Protein shakes so I can keep up nutrition.
