You look great! I was 206 day of surgery 10/11 now 182....slow loser I guess. Trying to stay positive. :-/

I am so feeling you pain and frustration. I am very similar in stats. I was sleeved on 10/11 lost 12 lbs postop the 1st week and nothing else since then. I do see inches but zero lbs. HATE the glue!!! I had staples for my sleeve. They were taken out before i left the hospital. Beautiful.

Try a little bit if alcohol around the incision for the itchy.....seemed to help me.

So sorry to hear, praying for a quick recovery for you.

My doctor used the glue. Turned out I was allergic to it. My large incision still isn't healed(I am 9 weeks post op). I also had massive itching and rash ( doctor thinks is from the glue) that showed up about two weeks after surgery. It's cool that the doctor gives you the option.

I am post op 10 days, I have been itchy since day 3. I think its glue too All my incisions have a little rash and itch like crazy. Appt on Wednesday but until then any suggestions?

10/11/12 sleever and down 10#.

You can try some Smooth Move herbal tea, I found some at walgreens, it helps.

Be careful with whatever you use. If you have steri-strips' date=' it can make them come off early and if you are dermabonded, it can react with the glue. Just placing something cool on the area will help relieve the itch temporarily I take a cold drink can or cold Soup can and just lay it on mine.[/quote']

My surgeon said no scar creams for 21 days but when mine were itching and driving me crazy' date=' I used a tiny bit of SiverSol gel or the anti itch gel. They can really make you crazy before they heal![/quote']

Ewwww that gastro ugi is horrible! Hope you all can tolerate it better than I did

I second that, and we are told never chug anything and the Dr said to down it.....pain and pure nasty-ness, I didn't know if I was going to vomit from the pain or the gastro stuff. On top op that they wanted me to drink more, I had to say no unless they wanted to clean up a mess so I just had to swallow my spit until they seen some movement. I guess I was really swollen. Ouch/Yuck

I am one week post op tomorrow, back to work today(desk job) feel ok. What is the deal with my nose? Smells are so intense. Metal; can't stand fork/spoon in my mouth. I'm going to have to carry plastic utensils with me at all times...lol

When does the pain of being kicked in the stomach go away? Surgery was on 10/11

Had surgery yesterday @ 2, doing well. Sipping Water and chewing ice chips. I haven't any gas pain yet, just feeling like someone punched me in the gut. Going in a bit to have a leak check, then Breakfast and home.

For sure!!! I'm a little nervous about the gas pain since I STILL have it from my lapband surgery....7 yrs ago tomorrow. :*0
