The famous question- Alcohol?
I had a little wine at 3 weeks. For about 6 months I couldn't drink enough to get a good "buzz" but that has changes now that I'm 13 months out! At 3-4 weeks, I think a few sips is fine, but I'm not a doctor ....

Two Months Out Before and Now Pics
I definitely know how you feel. Wait until the day you put on your favorite pajama pants with the elastic waistband and they literally fall off you. Or the day you see your collarbones for the first time since you were a child. Or the day you can cross your legs comfortably. Trust me, when these happen to you (and trust me, they will) you will begin to see yourself skinny in the mirror!

So Governor Christy had lapband surgery.
I wonder if there is a way that we, as an online community, can send Gov. Christy a supportive shout-out from all of us? I'm not a techie so I don't know....

Baja Bariatrics is the only way to go in Tijuana
- So Governor Christy had lapband surgery.
My guess is Christie choose band for the same reason most do - it's not permanent. I hope he is wildly successful with it, and if not, I hope he'll look into the sleeve and maybe stumble onto this site and get his questions answered. It would be so helpful to be able to tell people "yeah, I had that surgery that Christie had" and then they'd go " oh yeah, how cool" instead of "you did WHAT?" and "you went to Tijuana to have it done?" I would love to see someone famous touting an actual weight loss SOLUTION, instead of ripping people off selling WW, Atkins, Jenny Craig and the lot. I see those commercials now and I just want to scream "nooooo, save your money and get the sleeve!,,,"- So Governor Christy had lapband surgery.
I thought the same thing - why didn't he get the sleeve? I thought about writing him to say good luck, but when you get sick of it look into the sleeve!- I'm terrified....
