I've lost 32 lb's including pre op weight loss, up until 3 weeks after surgery. Then, 3 weeks of no weight loss. Frustrating but I'm hanging in there

I had my vsg on 19th September, I'm what they refer to as a lightweight lol! I had a great time, no problems what so ever. Lost 15 kg so far but have been in a 3 weeks stall

Sleeved September 19th, start weight 248, day of surgery 235, today 220. Stalled in week 3!! started to move again.....slowly

So frustrated, though I am very thankful for this site. Just over 3 weeks after surgery, I haven't lost an ounce in about 10 days. I have lost 11.8kg or around 26lbs, please tell me this isn't all I'm going to lose. I've read a lot about stalls, so I hope this one won't last for too long

I had surgery on 19th sept, I've had a great time 2 days in hospital up the Same day. Very little pain except from largest cut when i cough/sneeze/or laugh. Half hour walk everyday since I've been home. Im Following the Docs plan of 2 weeks fluids. I go back to see him on the 3rd oct, then will follow whatever he says. LOVE not feeling hungry or full. down 10kg. Hope this lasts

I've told one person, my husband. The only other people that know are the medical team. I feel it's no ones business but mine.

I'd do it again tomorrow in a heart beat. I knew family would not be supportive, so I didn't tell them. I'm 12 thousand miles away so i don't have to. The only person I told was my husband, who is sooo supportive, as he's lived it with me for the last 25 years. Almost changed my mind on the operating table! So glad I didn't

Thanks for all the good wishes. feeling great, I'm on the liquid diet, takes me a long time to drink the optifast. Someone on here gave the advice of Biotene, for dry mouth. Fantastic, wish I'd taken it to hospital. Love being home can rest and walk around the park in the evening. 8 kg or 17.6 lb loss so far, worlds looking like a brighter place. ????

Still in hospital, no pain just discomfort from the drain and drip but other than that all good. Hope to go home tomorrow, drinking well. Very dry mouth though. Good luck to all those waiting.

Thanks guy's, I Just had my pre op phone consult, all systems go. I have to be at the hospital for 7am tomorrow morning. Getting excited, though I think I had a gallbladder attack a couple of days ago, i've never felt pain like it! I thought i was goimg to die, ha ha! I hope that won't effect things for my surgery, can anyone tell me what the vsg pain is like?

Yes excited, more nervous I think though. Glad the weight loss isn't too bad, good tip about the green tea. I have one day left so will give that a go. Thanks
