Haven't updated here in a while! My surgery date was 8/24/12 at 240lbs as of right now I am 137lbs!!

I am almost a year out now and I still get Constipated very easily and quickly. I take a stool softener every other day just to make sure I don't get backed up. I let myself do that once and I never will again!! It was horrible!!! Try collace or a mild laxative just to keep the flow going.

As of yesterday I am now 137.5!! Only 2.5lbs to go!!!

What was your eating/exercising regimen?

I went to the gym or worked out at home every single day and stayed away from all carbs. Focused a lot on Protein and no sugars

Thank you!! Looks can be very deceiving because I was very insecure because I wasn't use to being that big. I gained my weight after having 3 boys back to back. I usually weighed around 120 anyway so that weight really bothered me.

Would say your at goal ?or how much do you have to go to get there

My goal was 150 I went well pass my goal now I'm 138 which I'm not complaining about at all lol I wud like to get to 135 but I won't die if I don't, as long as i don't gain anything lol.

It's normal for your body to fluctuate between 3-5lbs it's only the beginning trust me it will come off before you know it !!

Thank y'all so much!!! It's been a fun experience and I wud do it over again in a hot minute!!! I went to the gym everyday worked on my abs arms and lots of cardio, treadmill and elliptical

Yes my surgeon did this also and I carry it inside my purse at all times!! Lol lol

Thanks everyone for your replies, I just heard it from a friend and I have noticed a change in my weight loss when I meet my Protein goals. But I will refer back to my nutritionist

Now I pack a ready to drink Protein Shake in my purse when I go to the movies. Fill up on that and I won't be able to eat popcorn

I was hoping that I get out of this phase myself. Smh it's a little stressful but I want to make sure I maintain this lost I worked so hard for. I guess this will be my life lol but I'm fine with that as long as I don't gain anything that will be a change in dress size

Started back on the elliptical today!! Can't wait til I get back to doing my 45mins!!! I'm starting slow right now tho only did 10mins today
