  1. Does it even work after menopause?
  2. Causes dehydration
  3. I'm doing great getting pre op liquids in but up every 2 hours peeing, will that get better? Miss my sleep.
  4. Thank you so much, I made a list so I won't forget. Lol
  5. What do all these definitions stand for? Like: PCP, NUT . Etc.....
  6. Thank you all for your prayers and input. I spoke with the case manager at my docs office and she sent my information to my insurance company today. The month of December is still booked up, but I am trusting The Lord for something to open up. He knows I can't afford to pay my deductible and co insurance all at once, so I'm putting it in his hands and will wait on him. God Bless you all.
  7. I use one that is a mask but just covers your nose, works good for me.
  8. Take it easy, if you over do too soon, you build scar tissue and that can cause a lot of problems in the future.
  9. Thank you all, what a relief! I was worried I would be this way forever. Lol
  10. This is embarrassing, after my hysterectomy my whoo hoo has odor. I'm not sure it's from lack of hormones or unbreathable fat? I bath and shower all the time, wear deodorant down there and keep washing all the time. Am I abnormal?
  11. I'm thinking of things I want to do, like: ride a jip line, para sail, take a scuba diving class, golf again, walk to town (it's close). And most of all, Play with my Grand Daughter. And my all time fav. BREATH
  12. It took my husband a while to come around, but he finally did. My problem is, his sister. She thinks because I have been losing on the pre diet that I can just keep it up. Well the surgery is my motivation for now, would I stick with it if I didn't have that motivation? And I know I'm accountable to my doctor and dietician. At least the surgery would keep me in check. I finally have come to the conclusion that its my body and my decision!
  13. Just got back from a beautiful wedding. I thought they would have food I could eat, so no worries. Well I was wrong, there was all pasta, and I'm on the Adkins type pre diet. Well thankfully they had salad and for the kids they had chicken nuggets. So I peeled off the breading from the chicken and cut it up in my salad and made my own dinner. Got some exercise from dancing. Any other diet I would have said, oh well, and ate what was there. I think I'm finally learning to adjust food to my requirements, not just go with the flow. I hope I always stay true!
  14. Lol, I did the same thing. Enjoy all your favorites.

I was kinda worried how today was gonna go, but thank God it all worked out. My SIL made her famous cream cheese ball and I just put some on a stalk of celery instead of cracker. Turkey and a tossed salad for dinner, and I planned on a sliver of pumpkin pie but our Aunt brought a pumpkin pie trifle and it was all sugar free. I only had a half a cup of it. Just enough to enjoy but not too much. I am so glad I survived, and when everyone else was stuffed and actually hurting, I was content. Now I know I can do this! Thank you Jesus!
  16. I noticed a lot of ppl use a writing font and lite color. I love to read what ppl have to say, but for me this is really difficult to read. Does anyone else have this problem? I know I tried it once but when I saw how others appeared, I changed it. I love all the helpful information I get on this site.
  17. I was thinking the same thing. We have so much to be thankful for.
  18. Glad to see this group, I knit, crochet, quilt, cross stitch, stamp. You name it I do it. I'm working on hats and scarfs for the local boys home, I just finished a prayer shawl. And I need to make a beaded Bracelet for my Grand daughter. Yep, I'm pre surgery and am on the shrink your liver diet. Keeps me from eating all the time. Lol Planning on taking a craft to family's Thanksgiving celebration so I won't try and munch stuff I can't have. Hope it works. Lol
  19. I on my pre op diet and can't have anything good, not even a taste. Thankfully, I'm not cooking. . Happy Thanksgiving
  20. Shaker, that is so cool. I love hearing from other countries. Hope all goes well with you.
  21. The specific reason is how I put it to The Lord, I guess that was silly of me. I wanted it done before end of year cause of the cost of deductible and co-insurance. You have helped put it into perspective for me. I guess I was trying to box God in. Just don't want to do this out of Gods will, I make a lot of mistakes without seeking him first.
  22. When I made the decision to get sleeved, I put a fleece before The Lord and said if it got done this year it would be with his blessing. Now my surgeons office said they were all booked for this year. I did all the classes and all the appointments required, even lost 27lbs. I'm kinda discouraged, I really thought it was Gods will, that I go ahead. I keep praying for a miracle and that a day opens up in December. Am I pushing past his will? What do you all think?
  23. Just spoke with the surgeons office, he is all booked for December. All my co-insurance and deductible was paid for this year, now I have to start all over again. I'm still praying for a miracle to happen so I can get done this year year.
