  1. I just tried yesterday at almost 7 months out. http://www.verticalsleevetalk.com/topic/95516-im-afraid-of-bread/
  2. It's called "pop" and not "soda".
  3. Ummmmmm. It's Who Dey! Love my Cincinnati Bengals!!!
  4. I think a lot of the spelling errors can be attributed to smartphones and tablets. I get annoyed with certain slang. Swag ranks up there. It's silly. "Ima" and "I know, right." Grrrrrrr indeed! But c'mon and own it. You expressed your opinion and made your intent to chastise pretty clear. Now worries, right? Apparently the Grammar Police annoy you as much as grammatical errors annoy the Grammar Police. Let the balance be restored!
  5. Ohhhhh and my biggest pet peeve right now? "I know, right?" Makes my blood boil!!!! Are you asking me or telling me?
  6. Double negatives.
  7. Deal! We are rebels without a clue... Wait, that's not right.... Rebels without a cause???? Oh yeah!! Rebels with a cause!!!! Ummmmm, this thread is about my daughter stealing my Skinny Cow ice cream and your daughter stealing and then dismissing your Protein Cookies.
  8. http://www.verticalsleevetalk.com/topic/76695-vsg-urban-legends/ One of many VSG Urban Legends...
  9. Yes we are doing it. Some days are better than others. The past couple of days have not been my best.
  10. My mouth fills with thick saliva and I feel like I need to spit, and a bit gaggy.
  11. I spoke too soon. My stomach is a bit gnarly now.
  12. I tried bread today. Rosemary and olive oil crusty bread, dipping it in broccoli and cheese soup. Yummy but full almost immediately.
  13. My sleeve doesn't relax but I push it to the point of discomfort. Wait 45 minutes and eat again. Baaaaaaaad behavior. I have got to stop it.
  14. Well you're on the right thread!
  15. Totally PMSing here too. The Skinny Cow ice cream bars are freaking awesome! Just ask my daughter...
  16. My two favorite "quick fix" foods are Lean Cuisine Spring Rolls and Skinny Cow Salted Caramel Pretzel Bar.... Guess what my daughter's favorite snacks are? Grrrrrr!
  17. I'm relieved that you persisted and got an answer. Scary to think what may have happened if you hadn't sought out another opinion. It is a shame you Mexico contact went silent when communicated your complications to them. Due to the rise in Medical Tourism it is important they track the good, the bad, and the heartbreaking. To not do so is dangerous and disingenuous. Have you considered trying to contact your surgeon directly if possible?
  18. A Whovian hijack? Lol! Love me some 10th Doctor, Mr. David Tennant. My 12 year old daughter is a huge fan and we watch it together sometimes. Back to topic. What about gentle cuddle hugs. That's what I did with my hubby at first until I healed a bit more.
