I am scheduled for Nov 12th... So we start the pre op diet on the same day! I hope to God that I lose 8 pds on it... Or my surgery can be canceled... Don't know ??? Oh well... I am trying! Good luck Nana FYI: I am in California

Sorry to hear.... But Yes weightloss needs to be on the backburner! Your body needs strength and fuel (calories)... Have faith- My best friend had a similar situation... Pre OP for the sleeve they found masses in her lungs. After treatment she was sleeved approx 8 months later... Her surgery was in June...4 1/2 months later she is down 55+ pounds. I will have you in my thoughts and prayers- Hugs & God Bless!!!

HOW MUCH WEIGHT DID YOU LOSE ON THE 2-WEEK 800 CALORIE PRE OP DIET?????? Pending I lose the 8 pd goal.... My surgery date is Nov 12th I am soooooo nervous that I won't lose the 8. Currently I am going to the gym 6 days a week- 1hour per day... And my diet is 1,200 calories... 2 weeks before my calories will drop to 800 calories!

Met with the Surgeon... I was given a goal weight of 240... So I need to lose 8 pds. I've already lost 60 over the past year... Hope these last 8 come off fast!!!" My surgery date is Nov 12th

This Thursday I meet with my Dr... And hope he gives me a surgery date- Wish me luck!!!! PS: I am so glad that I found this forum... The stories I have read are so very helpful and inspiring
