The milk diet is a liver shrinkage diet Iv got to do it for 2 weeks prior to surgery

Hi everyone I'm starting the milk diet on the 17th of this month and am having my sleeve on the 31st, I'm due to see the dietician and my surgeon this Friday (the dietician wanted me to lose 5lbs) when I see her this Friday Only problem is I can't stop eating!!!!!!!! I'm scared they are going to cancel my op HELP!!

I haven't weighed myself and its the time of the month I'm scared il go there Friday and won't have lost anything and they won't do the op!! HELP

Can't wait to wear a pair of jeans! Lol I live in leggings and to be able to get some nice bras and underwear instead of bloody over the shoulder boulder holders n mahoosive knickers that I could use as a tent for the whole family lol xx

No it's not ur decision ur choice and yes this is a forum to vent anything u wish but some of us want a new life we know its not easy but we are doing it to make our lives better xx

Why have u done this if u was happy bigger? This is only a tool and not a magic wand to take all the food demons away is the bigger picture u have to work hard

Hi everyone I'm from the UK am being sleeved on Halloween 31st October. Have every confidence in my surgeon and team have an appt with the dietician n my surgeon on the 12th to get weighed (supposed to be dieting) need to lose 5 lbs when I go see them start milk diet 17th Am also scared of choking with good when I have been sleeved or food getting stuck am really scared cant even swallow tablets Would lbe nice to hear from anyone out there for support n advice thanks xx

Thank you both for your replies scared n anxious but can't wait to have it done and start my life again it kind of stopped a few years ago lol quite looking forward to the milk diet in a few weeks not have to think about food for a couple of weeks lol well done on ur 24lbs weight loss that is excellent xx

Thank you and the majority of people on here uk and USA have been so positive about it their only regret is that they did it much sooner. I went to have my bloods etc n to make sure I was fit enough for surgery and everything was ok apart from my cholesterol was a bit high trying to cut down before I go back n see the dietician on the 12th she wants me to lose 5lbs which I'm hoping I will achieve. Hi tasdevil Iv been thinking about it for quite some time now maybe a year or so and after my fourth child was born last October I was the heaviest Iv ever been n piling on the lbs so in July both me n my mum decided to go for it. We spoke to the surgeon n discussed the three ops available n the sleeve just seemed so much better than the band or bypass as each day passes I'm getting more nervous but I know I am getting closer to the person mother n girlfriend that I really want to be. What has ur experience been like? :-)
