  1. Fabulous, when I hear you have lost 66 lbs in 6 months I think you have done terrific. I am at week 7 and have lost 26 lbs and I think it is too slow, then I did the math, if I lose 10 lbs a month I will have 66 at 6 months too. I don't know why I thought I was going to shrink so fast, it is not happening like that, sounds like I am whining, 10 lbs a month is nothing to scoff at but I am eating so little in comparison to my whole life?!?!
  2. Reading one of the posts saying "I am losing 2-4 lb.'s a month". If we had never done the sleeve and were eating the portions you r probably eating, WE WOULD HAVE LOST MORE than 2-4 pounds in a month (probably). I think this is cause we reduced our calories to 500-800 while we were loosing a lot and now we don't burn calories like a body should. Does anyone want to put their 2cents in? Agreeing or not, I want to learn. I am only at 7 weeks so everything is still going great for me. I will believe it will always be great but I do like to educate myself.
  3. Braking out a little??? I wish, I have always had a few pimples going on but now I am a war zone, they itch and never come to a head, just liquid in them, I know this is disgusting but what can I say??? Any suggestions? I heard somewhere that as my fat cells are shrinking, their are hormones in the fat cells and everything gets messed up???
  4. How are you now? Have things become better for you? I am so sorry to hear your desperation, I know how you feel from a PRE op perspective on not being able to lose, please let me know how you are now, your post really touched my heart
  5. If I had read about 38 days in the hospital and all that this gal went thru I might have cancelled. I am glad I did not read this prior. Yes, things can go wrong but it is not the norm. I hope you go forward, as I sit here in pants I have not been able to wear in 3 years, I feel so much more content in my own skin. I walk most nights and this is a change too. I am so sorry for the lady who had those complications and glad she is better
