  1. I used my fitness pal b4 I had this procedure done....and it worked good for me.....until I fell off track. I'm now downloading it again to get back on the wagon to getting down to my weight goal. My only issue is bcuz I have acid reflux' date=' its kinda hard still for me to get in what I'm needing. I am doing better than I was last week. My question is, when putting ur goals in, how many calories do u put n to intake a day?[/quote']

    I put mine @ 800

  2. Hi all. I was sleeved on 10/15. I'm reading about everyone difficulties and to tell you the truth' date=' I'm really scared because I haven't had ANY difficulties. Besides the incision pain and being tired, I've truly had no nausea, vomiting, extreme chest pain, gas pains, etc. the only thing I'm having trouble with is drinking all the Protein drinks. Not because I'm not tolerating it physically but because I'm just so sick of the chalky and sweet taste. I decided this morning to start my full liquids today instead of tomorrow and made a broccoli, cauliflower and potato puréed Soup and it's heavenly.

I'm not trying to brag...I'm truly scared because its been TOO easy! Something must be wrong??? I keep questioning whether my doctor actually did the full surgery beyond the incisions! I know it sounds crazy but I keep reassuring myself that if it didn't happen, I'd have passed out by now and be STARVING!!!

Is anyone else like this? I'm really scared.

I had my surgery on oct 3 and have had not one complication! Nothing! I feel great. I think what your experiences is good. Wait til you start mushy food... You'll find out you've had something done then! It's just not possible to eat much. I'm loving my sleeve!!

  3. Well bad news' date=' no sleeve for me now or ever! No bypass either. My band had eroded into my stomach. Took 2 hours to get out. Dr had to call in a gastro specialist to help. I'm very upset right now. But the doctor said he saved my life. I know all things work together for those who love The Lord. I hate I will never be part of the losers bench. Much success to all you guys. I have enjoyed getting to know you all.[/quote']

I know your so upset! Good thing you tried bc it saved your life!!!

  4. Me too! I'm 9 days postop' date=' you? I can't even roll over in bed without waking up in excrutiating pain on that left side! I am wearing a binder with a washcloth tucked in over that site to give extra pressure-it's the only way I make it through. I am still taking ES Tylenol every 4-6 hours also. I see my MD on Friday-will try to get some insight.[/quote']

I hate y'all are feeling so much discomfort. I hope it gets better. How many incisions do y'all hv?

  5. Four days out from surgery and I am sorry to report that I'm one of the folks with pain after coming home. Not a ton and not unmanageable' date=' but if you hurt afterwards don't worry. We're all (mostly) normal.

I have yet to be actually hungry, but I want to smell everyone's food! I don't want anything more than a good long sniff. How are our other post-sleevers doing?[/quote']

I'm 5 days post op & I hear ya...food smells so good. I'm not in any pain my back just hurts a little

  6. Hey guys! I'm doing so good! I was sleeved on oct.3 I would say the first 3 days are rough but today I actually went to the mall & went shopping for about 2 hours. Now my back was hurting pretty bad but my stomach doesn't. I even took a bath last night & tonight. Just Water right under my belly button but it felt so nice! Wasn't hard to get out either... There is no pain or discomfort in my stomach anymore. Protein is so hard getting in! Water isn't that bad. Any advice on protein? Or things to eat?
