I know all drs have different diets to follow' date=' but reading on here I see mine has been a lot different. Does anyone else have a similar diet? I had no pre op diet, the first few days while in the hospital after surgery I was on a liquid diet. When I got to come home I was on both liquid and purée. , I then had my 2 week follow up appt on sept 25 and have been on a regular diet of whatever I can tolerate.[/quote']
I'm pre-sleeve, but this is about the same as my surgeons plan, although I'm not sure when regular diet starts

seriously .. i'm starting to gain weight even tho i'm still on a semi liquid diet. Is this normal???After i'm out from the hospital with my severe dehydration' date=' i gained like 4 kg. this is nightmare.[/quote']
If they put you on a drip the extra weight could just be the fluids.

Great thankyou

Has anyone tried A2 milk? It is a different Protein to regular (A1) milk, and more gentle on stomachs......
I'm really interested in the egg white powder. What is the brand?

I found Implanon was really good. Tiniest minimal scar after being removed.

I believe so. Not all fruits are created equal with regard to how much sugar they contain.

I know with my last c-section there was a bit I just had to trim off, it was really irritating

And yes' date=' those are adult footie pajamas... Didn't buy them because I'm not that crazy, but I just had to try them on![/quote']Oh go on! You wouldn't try them
On if you weren't considering them just a little bit
BTW one of the first things I plan to buy is footie pjs (yes - crazy)

She's hilarious....if you like off color humor.
Off colour humour? I'd call her foul-mouthed. butterthebean, she's awful! She did do well
With the sleeve though

I didn't know who she was, so I googled her. Yes she looks very good, but some of her quotes indicate she's probably not very funny.
-
Oh no! I hope you don't have to go back. Gosh' date=' getting the sleeve isn't an immediate fix is it. We all knew this and the first week I could have never imagined eating the wrong foods after all the pain I was in- but here I am, no longer feeling the pain so the old me rears it's ugly head again. I had 3 months worth of psychology visits to deal with the events that lead me to turn to food and I thought I had it all under control, until today- when my emotions were high and I felt alone and depressed, I couldnt cope without the food.< /p>

Yep - we've all got that **** going on (at least I do). I don't think 3 months is going to resolve issues which have been plaguing us for so long. Don't be so hard on yourself. You want to know what I think? (you can't answer that, so I'm gonna tell you anyway ) we need to learn to forgive and love ourselves. I'm working on it for myself.

Pretty sure she wasn't joking...

Find a "wellness" one. Mine said that as our body becomes out of alignment, it interferes with the signals that get sent around the body. (it's after 7. I don't do technical after 7..)
Oh - but a killer headache after the first session...don't let that put you off if you go ahead with it
-
Cookeeez have you considered trying a wellness chiropractor - one who treats your entire self vs symptom care? I found my anxiety symptoms were tremendously improved after 2 treatments, altogether gone after a couple more. Sciatica controlled, muscle stiffness and hip pain gone. I felt GOOD. Better than good actually!

I'm absolutely addicted. Not so much food, as addicted to sugar. I feel the high, subsequent low, and then high when I eat more. I eat it until I feel sick. Pre-menstrual I can double my normal intake. And now that I have a surgery date, every day is my 'last meal.' consequently, I've put on several kg in just a few weeks.
I'm about to google and see if Aus has an overeaters anonymous or similar.
Now.....where was that packet of caramel jerseys?

I sometimes get a soft fine blondish fuzz, especially across my jawline. Courtesy of my last pregnancy, and 3 years later still happens. I use an epilator which works well. I can't tolerate using the epilator on my legs, but face is fine.

Get some antihistamine into you
-
It is unusual that she hasn't been on. I don't think she'll mind....
-
Optifast is meant to be the most balanced nutritionally. Perhaps replace one or two meals a day to start with?
I think that's the way I'll go.....
And probably only one a day to start with lol not THAT keen
-
DON'T GET IT!!!! It's got a really gritty texture and is very expensive! Lucky they took returns! It was worst thing ever!!
Thanks Cookeeeeez. I hadn't even heard of it until today.

Has anyone tried Whey-Less? It looks like it might be an option. Decent Protein, low sodium, average carbs. I'm thinking I need to start a self-imposed pre-op. Since booking a date, I reckon I've gained 3-4kg. I'm too scared to weigh.
-
Tired and cranky can be attributed to your body withdrawing off the sugar and processed carbs. Nasty - but you know it's working! Stick with it!

One of my challenges is staying away from the junk food that the rest of the family brings home. Simple carbs (white bread' date=' Cookies, crackers etc) trigger my hunger big time.[/quote']
I haven't been sleeved yet - but I am very aware the effect eating this type of crap has on my hunger. They put blood sugar levels all over the place. Sugar and white processed foods are an addiction. "My name is Ozee, and I am a sugar addict."

Urine
in The Gals' Room

Strong smelling urine (and dark yellow in colour) is usually caused by dehydration. However, see a Dr and have it tested! You are far better off not leaving it until other symptoms appear.
