I definitely think Bo is better, but who knows, I personally have never voted. And like you all said, they will both come out of this winners. I think that Baby V is a whole lot better than Carrie and think she should be one of the finalists. I live 30 min from Ft. Myers from where she is from so I have been rooting for her. She is definitely very talented. Maybe I should try for American Idol next season, I would probably make the worse of the worse show:) Cause I sure can't sing. Hey I might even get a recording contract, that idot guy did.

I wondered about her decision regarding her dress, but it was so simple and elegant, just beautiful. You know I hated Rob on the amazing race, but that was truly awesome wasn't it. All I could do was wish I had such a romantic guy. She looked so beautiful, it was truly spectacular.

I looked it up, how terribly scary. I had never heard of this before, wonder why? You always hear all the stories of the mass murderers, I totally had missed this. You sometimes have to wonder, how we encounter these kinds of people sometimes. As you all know I am from a very small rural town and after I was divorced, I dated a few losers. Well one of them, I went on two dates w/ but discovered I didn't like him really quick. He got really mad at me on our second date because I wouldn't sleep w/ him, hello loser I just met you!! Well anyways, a year later he killed his ex-wife with a bat. He apparently asked her to meet him in a remote area and they got into an agruement over child support money (she had their son's baseball bat in her car) well it got violent and he blugened (sp?) her to death with this bat, well he then called his brother who brough him a gasoline container and they set her car on fire w/ her in it. It was horrible. He is serving a life term for his horrible crime. And to think I was alone w/ this monster.

I try to be careful with the razors, but yesterday my baby son tried to shave my face when he was taking a shower with him. He said "mommy you shave like daddy?" can you believe that, he had that think ready to shave my cheek, yikes!

I get chills reading all this stuff. I had never read this thread before, but relate to alot of the stories being told. Here are some of mine: My cousin Gloria lived in an older home and we went to visit her a couple of years ago, when we got there her husband and daughter were not home and a few minutes later while we were standing in the kitchen next to the window, I clearly saw a little girl skip up the front walkway, headed to the front door, thinking it was her daughter I went into the living room to greet her daughter, well there was no one there, I went outside to see if maybe she had gone to the backyard and there was no one there, no car in the driveway either, thinking it was odd, I went back in the kitchen and told Gloria that I thought I had seen Cassie coming in the house. She was so surprised, she told me her little girl often told her that she had a friend who she talked with that lived in her room, but that she thought it was just her little girls overactive imagination. I was truly freaked as I clearly saw that little girl. I know that there are many strange things out there and have experienced some really frightning things, but when my ex-husband and I were getting divorced it got a bit overwhelming for me. You see my ex-husband and his family all believe in witchcraft. When we were in the middle of our very messy nasty divorce, I would get letters in the mail from his girlfriend that had ashes in them and letters that were colored w/ crayons and had weird sayings in them and then in my little girls diaper bag (when she came back from a visit w/ her dad) there was a brown stone that had a carving of a black wolf in the center and lots of other odd things. It was very frightning for me. My mother always told me to just put myself in God's hands and that nothing would ever harm me, and that if I was ever scared to just call out Jehova's name and he would save me. Well I can't tell you how many times, while sleeping the bad people (or something) would try to take me and harm me, I would be laying in bed and wake up from my sleep and all of a sudden the dark room would get darker and these shadows would start hoovering over me trying to pull on me and take me (very frightning to me) I remember crying out for help, and then remembered my mother's words. I would say Jehova please help me, don't let them take me away, and I'd say evil cringes when they hear the name of the lord and it would stop, just like that, I would reopen my eyes, covered in sweat, crying hysterically. This went on and on and everytime, JEhova God would save me. After the divorce became final and the fighting stopped and what ever they were doing to me stopped, these episodes stopped. I feel truly blessed for my mother's words, I honestly think that if I didn't call on God's name at those times, something very bad might have happened to me, I can't really explain it, but I just know that they would have taken me away.

OH I forgot to tell you, my mom had her brows, lower lids and lips done and she is always trying to get me to do my brows, but I'm scared of the pain, so I don't want to get it done and with eyebrows, the style is always changing, sometimes thinner is in, sometimes thicker is in, so if you have them done, your stuck???

I'm so sorry for what you have been going throuhg. Sorry about your FIL, and I'm sorry that you have had it so rough, with your MIL. It is understanding that your MIL is having a hard time right now, but you are being a very good daughter to her indeed. NO GOOD DEED GOES UNREWARDED. Have fun in Cancun and enjoy your vacation. I'm so excited about you getting your tt, I too am scheduled for one this summer and can't wait to have my bulges gone. I'm a bit scared, but mostly just very excited. And I'm sure not looking forward to wearing those tight girdle pants ( I had lipo on my outer thighs two years ago) and those pants are the hardest thing about the whole recovery thing. I hate to wear tight stuff, yuck!!!

Christina, I am so sorry that you are in pain, I hope you start feeling better really soon and don't worry a little delay in your surgery is okay. I fell so bad for you, my back was out once and it was the most horrible pain I have ever been in (even worse than childbirth), so I know how you feel. Take Care and keep us posted.

I am 6 1/2 months out of surgery and my scars are still red and look a lot like scottygyrl's scars, is this normal? shouldn't they be white by now?? And what bothers me the most is that the scar in the center is raised quite a bit, maybe I too should try that mederman stuff?

From the local church sign: Families are like Fudge Mostly Sweet Witha few Nuts We all have members of our family that have no clue what the band is and therefore share their stupid comments, but you just have to ignore them and remember why you did this--For yourself. I have a cousin that just had gastric bypass and the comparisions are driving me crazy. They want me to lose weight as fast as she is losing, there is no comparison, I am losing slower, but I love my kids too much to risk my life that way. I am happy that she came out of it okay, but she is fresh out of it and might develop complications and the amount of medications and Vitamins she has to take on a daily basis is ridiculous. I am so happy that I have the band, and to all those that think I took the easy way out, I tell them they can kiss my big fat wide ass!! I wish this was easy, oh how I wish it was.

Well I have to report that I am wearing size 10-12 shorts with a short inseam.. My legs could look better (have a spot on the back of my leg that has a spider web and the veins on my legs are so noticeable), but what the heck, I'm wearing a size I haven't been in quite a while, can't wait to get my tt next month. So I am sorry that you gals are having a rough time, I can totally relate, been there many years. And you know what's worse that when bathing suit season rolls around all you can find in our sizes are those wild wacky 80 year old grandma prints, what's up with that??? So who is really creative with designing on this board, lets get your business started. We are a huge market of women that want better fitting clothes. So who's our next top designer???

A romantic getaway celebration sounds like a wonderful idea to me. Picture it the two of you, in a room with a huge gigantic king bed, rose petals and lite candles everywhere (just don't burn the hotel down), cold champagne, and a little red teddy for you. Wow, doesn't that sound wonderful???

Yep, the port itself has little holes that get stitched inside, but mine apparently broke off. I hear it happens sometimes, too bad it happened to me!

Well, as some of you know, my port is flipped and it pokes out a bit, and lately it has been hurting. It is not so painful, that I can't stand it, but it hurts. The area stays bruised because the port stikes out. Any ideas, my fill Dr, said he can fix it, but wants $1000 and with summer vacation coming up, I don't want to fork over that kind of mula$. OH my this band is giving me problems...

Oh Delarla, do we have that in common, too. I too suffer from anxiety disorder and can't ever sleep. Most nights I only get 3-4 hrs rough sleep. So the being exhausted and trying to raise three kids and have a full time job is a bit overwhelming at times. I have to take Ambien to sleep, but I think I'm getting addicted to the stuff, so I've been trying to go to sleep on my own this week, but it isn't working.

I don't think its infected, but it is sure hurting. And no my doctor hasn't tried massaging it into place, that's a thought. I would love for Dr. Gomez to massage me, he is so good looking. hee, heee.... I called my band surgeon today and he said he will stitch it into place next month when he does my tummy tuck end of next month. So hopefully I can deal with it until then, but it really is starting to get on my nerves, the hurting and the poking.. Thanks girls, you guys are awesome, what would I do without you. Love you guys.

Ouch, now I'm more scared than I was before, and I'm a wimp when it comes to stuff like that, how can I consciously go and do this to myself. Is it that important that i get rid of this ugly flab handing over my belly??? Even though I am scared too death, I still want to get this done, oh my goodness, its really going to hurt, alot.. How long after your surgery did you go back to work??? I do a desk job, do you think, I will be able to come to work 2 1/2 wks after surgery?? Is that realistic?? Well, I still have some time to back out of this if I change my mind, but I probably won't, us women like to torture ourselves, don't we???

You both are such beautiful women, glad you were able to meet. I wish I could meet all of you wonderful women. Maybe someday, we will have the opportunity to meet.

Just keep in mind that I'll be broke and won't be able to afford you, LOL...Oh man, I couldn't work in a bakery, breads, cakes and donuts are my weakness...I would probably weight a ton is I ran a bakery, It would probably go broke from me eating all the goods... So juju where does your screen name come from??? My three year old son's nickname is JuJu. That is so funny that your screen name is the same as his nickname. My four year old called him that cause she couldn't pronounce Jr. So now everyone calls him JuJu, even everyone at daycare.

Yep, you guys are lucky ducks, My band surgeon is back in Mexico and even though his fills are free, I'm using a band doctor in Miami (3 hr drive for me, each way, so that's a 6 hr drive, yuck) But oh well, I guess it could be worse. Alex, can you help Isa on the plastic surgery thread, she tried posting some pics but it didn't work.
