Jaime Ponce Deleon was super great! His whole staff takes really good care of you!

I'm also two weeks out and really enjoyed food every aspect but I know I will be able to eat again just in moderation, this journey is teaching me a lot of healthier choices, there's really good healthy food hang in there it will get better.

I hadn't had a period for three months then bam, day of surgery! Actually started on my plane ride lol was sleeved on the 26th of sept and still bleeding lightly!! I think it has a lot to do with rapid weight loss but I can live with that!

I'm home now girl!! So glad everything went good for you!! Long journey ahead!! Hard to get used to prayers are with u my friend!!

It was so nice to meet you no trouble at all!! Hope you have had your ice chips! We actually already left and were staying in San Diego over night and back to Texas in the morning be prepared that blue barium is the puts but necessary :/ I'm so glad we did this girl!! Thank u!! I hope you got my private message. Such a wonderful experience other than the gas pains but those are become more minimal as I'm walking quite a bit. Well worth it so glad the hard parts over with heck I think the liquid diets tge hardest part so far!! Many hugs and can't wait for u and everyone to join me

Had my surgery yesterday here in Tijuana Mexico. Dr Ponce Deleon is awesome!! The Doctors and nurses are all really good and quick to my bedside. Other than the gas pain I'm doing good, get to leave tomorrow

Congrats newbie!! I'm preop and only having to do a 7 day liquid diet before the 26th, I tryed forcing myself away from the junk food, it's so hard to do!! It's all I've known for so long. This sleeve will def put a stop to it tho. Hang in there I've heard it gets much better with time, look how far you have come!! God bless from Texas

I finally decided to not get the passport all together, If I were you and I know this really sucks (sorry) but I would get another certified copy of your birth certificate if your passport doesn't arrive say like a day or two before you leave for surgery. I was really uneasy about not having my passport at first until I've asked enough, my coordinator which is in the next town told me she would leave her passport at home and just bring her birth certificate to make me feel better about it good luck to u!!

9/26/12 ready for life!!

Hi everyone!! Was needing some input, I'm applying for my passport this coming Wednesday and my surgery is set for September 26th, gives me 3 wks! My friend who has been to Mexico many times says I'll be fine crossing back into USA with just a birth certificate and drivers lic, what are your experiences or thoughts? Please and thank you!!

You are absolutely right!! It's what's right for you!! I have to tell myself that also!! My mother said "I think your nuts"!! That was it!! A couple friends are different about it but are they jealous to? Probably!! Sucks people can't just be happy for you!! It's not all bad here, I have a few that are very supportive but it comes down to getting healthy and living right!! I'm excited!! Sept 26th is my day!! No one will change my mind!! Well I have a friend that I was in a class with last semester that uses dr Ponce for all her family, she recently took her daughter in April and she looks great, no complications what so ever, she now flys out with people in groups to see dr ponce. From all the people I've witnessed seeing that's used him look and feel great!! I'm not sure who my coordinator is unless it's her because she has walked me through everything thus far and has booked surgery date, I just got off the phone with her and will be getting preop liquid diet soon I know that this doctor is a teacher to other doctors, I was just wanting to hear outside influences on people I did not know so I appreciate the info!! I'm getting more and more comfortable on choosing him, I haven't heard one little bad thing!! Good luck everyone!! September 26th is my day!!
