On my 7th day post-op I venture out to take my handicap son for a drs appt, I was feeling great almost no soreness left. When we started home though I started feeling a tenderness and pulling on the left side of my stomach. We do have a handicap full size van that I had to step up into and i did push my sons wheelchair but didnt feel anything while doing so. the pain was better this morning atfer resting all night, almost no pain this mornin but now this afternoon its back. Is this normal ? Did I prehaps pull something? Its okay except when i move a certain way or bend. Any feedback appreciated.

There is also a low-carb tortilla that only has like 5g of carbs you can also fry it in just a little olive oil before making the pizza for a crispier crust. i have also used alfredo sauce instead of marinara either way its delicious.

I was also sleeved the 26th and i'm doing fine getting in liquids, my family kinda avoids the subject as well, I think its just because they don't really know what to say and are just waiting to see what happens next. I believe as we start looking better and moving around doing more they will find their voice.

I also wonder what "rough" means to some i was sleeved monday and i was sore when I woke up and had some pain but it was bearable, I took very little pain meds. I'm doing fine getting my fluids and Proteins in just have to sip sip all day. The crushed meds are nasty, some even mixed with applesauce are just so bitter. I'm less sore everyday. I'm bored with the liquid diet but only have one more week till pureed. I haven't had any complications (Thank You Lord) so I can't really say any of my expierience thus far has been rough by my definition of the word. I guess I would say a little uncomfortable at times but thats about it. Just Follow instructions and don't cheat.

Hi all,
Thanks for the prayers, sleeved yesterday, home today. everything went great. I am very sore and moving slow but tolerating liquids well. it feels different not at all hungry and you do have to sip sip sip to get close to goals. I know now why they say Proteins first cause you feel full so quickly.Proteins anf fluids in the required amounts is what gets the weight off, and keeps it coming off.

I didn't get a response but the watery stools stopped on day 7, I still have them some but not as much and as unexpectedly as before.

My diet is 14 days liquid pre-op, I do 3 Protein Shakes a day Premiere Protein from Sams club its doable. sugar free Jello, sugar-free poposicles, broth, cream Soups blended, crystal light, tea and coffee, diet v8 splash. Im on day 6 doing ok so far, My body has been going through a cleansing. It is suppose to be different after surgery you want be as hungry and wont be able to hold as much either. Looking at the things others can have makes me want to cheat but i'm afraid to. If anything goes wrong I wanna be able to say i did everything my doc said.at least, I would blame myself otherwise. Good luck and hang in there. Sandra
