YUM just threw a bunch of yummy sounding ingredients in my vitamix, crossed my fingers and prayed the for best, it turned out AMAZING! 1 can of small white Beans with juice 1/4 cup milk (i added more to mine since im in the liquid stage and had to strain it and keep it thin) 2 dashes of garlic powder 3 dashes paprika 2 dashes dried basil 1/4 cup aged parmesan Wow delicious. Just throw it in the pan after blending and heat it up!

I saw a Youtube video of this girl that bought the Gerber lil' crunchies mild cheddar puffs. She said she had been eating them during her puree stage... She assumed they were fine since A.) they are for babies and B.) they completely melt or disinegrate ... Does anyone think that they would be safe to have during puree stage? They come in some yummy sounding flavors... My NUT takes a long time to reply to email

Ok BEST pre made lentils are by Tasty Bite. Theyre called "madras lentils". They are lentils and red beans with spices in a creamy tamato based sauce... Like a chili consistancy! Yum they are SO good, i get them at costco. Not sure where else they sell them but theyre worth looking around for!

My surgeon is very serious on 3 weeks thin liquids (anything through a straw). Then 3 weeks puree. Even though it sucks (5 more days of liquids) my surgeon assured me that it is the safest way to go. Leaks are a big risk when starting puree too soon!

Is it that necessary? Would i die if i didnt have it out?

This surgery has causes me depression i never had before. But its getting better

I was allowed 2 cups of vegetables a day during my pre op diet, I secretly ate a few bites of rice and nothing happened.... Butttttt I am considerably smaller than most wls patients and only had to do 7 days (my doc usually has a 14 day mandate)

Ive been craving food every day (mcdonalds, tacos, chips, burgers/dogs, etc.) what do i do to stop these cravings!? Im only 12 days post op liquids now puree's on thursday! Ahh!!

Mine goes : 3 weeks thins liquids (anything that can fit through a straw) Week 4-6 : purees/ soft (anything applesauce consistancy) Week 7-8 : deli meat,tofu, boiled chicken, toast and crackers, Beans and pea, well cooked Pasta Month 2: poultry (skinless) , soft cooked veg, melon , moist ground meat in sauce Minth 3: rice, soft bread, duck Month 4: veal, crunchy fruit and veg (salad ), veal Month 6 : steak and pork

Thanks guys , im not planning on telling people flat out. Only 15 people in my life know about this surgery (mainly family and a few very close friends). Im just worried , what if i fall for a guy and tell him and he is turned off! I feel like it is just one of those things... I wish i could meet a guy that has had bariatric surery too, that would be ideal!!

I am 22 years old living in ny ( where men are already scarce as is !) and I'm nervous that since I've been vsg'd that men may find me a lot less appealing since I've had this surgery. Has there been any women here that have been sleeved and found it harder to date? I know people like us Are judged, and I'm nervous that if I find a guy he may be turned off by it? I've been single for a long time and a part of this surgery was hopeful to make me More attractive as well as all of the other great things that goes with it ( having heart disease and such)

I did a barium test but I nevernsaw it I was so jacked on morphine... I want an Xray too! I was just talking about this last night! I'm going to request one for my 1 month post op ( I'm 12 days in )
