Wow there's so much I would like ti do:
Volunteer at my daughter's school and not feel embarrassed for her because of my size.
Take my kids swimming without the looks.
Take a family cruise or fly in a airplane.
Be able to walk with my kids at a amusement park and feel like I belong.
Start living my life again!!!!

Glad to see their are sleevers out in Md, just haven't found anyone who had their surgery here at hospitals in the area, everyone seems to have had their surgery in Mexico.

Mine was placed to prevent blood clots from traveling to heart and lung which can cause PE's, yes. Glad they took that extra measure of safety.

My highest weight was 489, on sept 2 it was 455 today it is 438 so I hope all goes well for me on wed 12th, surgery day!

I was so nervous about having my filter placed today. But my vas surgeon was wonderful, Dr K Hughes @ Howard. I felt no pain whatso ever. But I do have a question, once I got home I started having severe cramps. Did anyone else have this problem?

I dont know anything about Isopure, but I have Bluechoice BC/BS and I hade to have 6 months of journals but it was for when I went to my weight management classes. We had to bring a journal of what we ate for the month. I found the app MyFitnessPal, alot of us here use this app, which is AWESOME!! You just search for the foods you eat and print them out prior to your meetings. If you don't have this app you should get it. It helps!!! Hope I help answer your question a little. Good luck with your journey!

OK I am on pre op diet day #7 surgery scheduled for the12th. I had lost approx 14 but I have gained 4 back. I know why, I started on last wed and on sat my best friend had a 50th bday dinner. And yes I cheated:( I had a piece of chicken and green Beans. Then I have been under the weather and I ate some chicken noodle Soup. I am now back on the wagon with my liquids, Jello and broth only diet. I just wanted to vent!! Wish me luck with these next 6 days!

Im also 12th, I am very excited and scared all at the same time. I am on day 7 of 14 for pre op diet, also with just a few slips. I have lost 11 lbs so far I am hoping for another 9 by next wed but the weight loss may have slowed down some not sure yet. I was averaging 1-2 lbs a day so we will see. Good luck to all the sept 12 sleevers. I pray we all have a safe and fast surgery/ recovery.

Good morning everyone, I am on day 6 of 14 on my clear luquid diet and I just wanted to ask a question, I have to drink 2 Meal Replacement shakes and 2 shakes of my choice, I use Atkins. I am having a hard time getting this in. I'm just not hungry, I have to make sure that I eat.
I have lost 14 lbs as of last wed 29th and I feel good. Has anyone else had a problem with making sure they get all their shakes in?

For the past few days I haven't been able to even get my shakes and Water in. I know I will definately have to work on that. Good luck tomorrow to all the sleevers being done tomorrow and I wish you all a speedy recovery! See you on the other side!
