1 week 1 day post op and have no regrets! I've already lost 24 pounds and I feel great! The worst part was the first 2 days... Gas pains and nausea. But after that it hasn't been bad at all. I just had my first post op appointment today and everything looks great. I was so scared and nervous too before I had y surgery... Had a couple of breakdowns and struggled with the pre op diet but now I am so happy I did it! Good luck and stay strong :-)

Finally on full liquids and I just tried creamy potato Soup (strained the chunks out) for the first time and it tastes so delicious! Was getting so sick of clear liquids... This stage is so much better lol. Anyone who is struggling with Clear Liquids just keep thinking positive it definitely gets better :-)

Hello all, I just switched to full liquids and had about 4oz of Tomato soup... It was so delicious after being on Clear Liquids for a week. Afterwards I didn't have that "full" feeling that I was expecting. I felt satisfied but not full. I thought I had read on here that some people will take 3 spoonfuls and feel "stuffed"... So I was kinda expecting that too. Can anyone else tell me how they felt during this phase. Maybe I won't actually get that "stuffed" feeling until I eat solids?

Wow congrats that's amazing!! I would also love to know what your meal plan/ exercise is like?

I had a hernia repair too. The pain does get a little better each day tho so that is good! Good luck to you also! :-)

I'll be one week post op tomorrow. I still have pain in my upper left side of stomach... It hurts the most when I have to get up out of bed or if I bend a certain way. Anyone else have this? How long until it goes away

I'm the same way I don't have any issues drinking Water at all. Sometime I wonder how much he actually cut out of my stomach! lol I'm hoping to do everything right too I'm going to ask the doctor at my next appointment.

Thanks everyone :-)
-
Lol thank you glad to hear that! I think I'll be fine then :-)

This is probably a dumb question but just wondering if drinking TOO much Water can cause a leak? I'm only a few days post op and I sip all day long to make sure I'm getting enough Fluid. I really don't have any problem getting it down at all either so I just sip away all day...lol. Has anyone ever heard of getting a leak from this?

That makes sense I didn't even think about my stomach being swollen may be the reason. It's good to hear that after 2 months the hunger is easy to squash. I also use to feel like I would DIE if I didn't eat before this surgery and I always over ate. This is why I needed this surgery so bad. Looking forward to everything!

So I was sleeved on 12/6 and since then I've been following my liquid diet. I was expecting to feel hungry but I don't at all. When i do a little i just drink some Water or broth and i feel full!! I am hoping that it stays this way but I'm wondering if its because my stomach still hurts so maybe that's why I don't feel hunger. This is wonderful and I just really hope it lasts. I guess that's a part of what the sleeve is for anyways lol. Still getting use to this but loving it so far. I can't imagine what it will be like once I switch to normal foods...curious how much I will be able to eat ect...
116 lost with PICS!

Wow you look GREAT!! I had my surgery a month after you and I've lost 60 pounds, that's amazing how much you lost in 6 months!!
Please share what your daily food intake is like if you don't mind? I need ideas to help start my weight loss back up since I've hit a stall.
