  1. I am 3 months post op today and no issues. However, I just laid down for bed & very suddenly got this horrible pain. It started mid back then radiated around my right side under my breast area. I haven't had heartburn today- could it still be that? Could it be gas? I just got up and took some gas-x so seeing if that helps. It felt almost like when you eat too much and it gets stuck- but I haven't eaten for a few hours. Very odd...
  2. My first side by side photos since being sleeved on 12/27/12. Down 50 lbs!!! I didn't think it was visible, until now. Very happy with the progress. :-)

  4. I honestly don't know what I was thinking. I think I took the bite out of habit, not even thinking really. SOOO not worth it, I am pretty sure I will have a bread aversion now! Lol!!! That's a good thing.
  5. I'm almost 4 wks out. It seems to be subsiding now- thank goodness! NEVER again.
  6. So my family is having spaghetti & garlic bread. I made the ricotta bake for me. However I decided to try some garlic bread, I am in so much pain. It's like it's stuck in my back. I hope I don't puke. Uggggh never again!
  7. Making the popular baked ricotta for dinner- very excited to try it. Seems like there are so many rave reviews.

  13. I am almost 3 wks post op, no issues at all. This morning, when I woke up I did I big stretch. You know, like when you stretch your arms above your head/ stretch out your back... Well, my back popped but I also has this weird pain in my belly. Sharp shooting pain, almost like something popped in there as well. I have felt ok, but my stomach area has been sore all day. It actually hurts. Hoping its just a stretches muscle in there- but wondering if anyone has experienced something like this?
  14. I love to mix in cinnamon and Splenda for a more sweet take.
  15. I admit I have been frustrated as well at this stage. I just can't find anything worth eating. I was so excited to get some food, albeit puréed. But nothing tastes "right" or good. I know the body needs food to burn- but I'm finding its easier to do the protein drinks/shakes and liquids. However, I just keep trying things and hopefully it will get better.
  16. I am in Jax/St. Aug area and had surgery in 12/27- Dr. Uchal. He was/is awesome! No issues at all!

  20. Yep- that's since surgery. I am now -21 lbs.
  21. About to go shopping & want some ideas. Happy to finally progress to purées but my mind is blank. Want to avoid carbs as much as possible too.
  22. Awesome! This looks phenomenal! Gonna try it out once on solids
