Sleeved 9/12' date=' will be be 1 month post op tomorrow... dde00-Starting weight day of liquid diet on 8/29 was 242, day of surgery 222 & as if last Thursday was 211 - will weigh myself in the morning-try to weigh only once a week not to become obsessive.. Horrible!!! I do good most of the day and than by night I am eating something solid....very stressful....but I have one more week and really need to buckle down...I realize where I make my errors....I forget to have a shake at dinner time and end up eating cause I am starving by 9ish...I hear he is an awesome doctor...my name is Rose by the way.Hey rose how are doing

Are you able o intake your Protein or Water ok? A was sleveed on 9/7 and still having trouble

Good deal' date=' mine went pretty well buy they did have to do hernia repair & my left side I'm having major sharp pain.. The Dr just left & he said I could stay an extra night due to that pain so they can monitor

Omg, my dr. Found a hernia, and found out that half of my stomach was in my chest; however he was able to correct them both, am so lad I went through with doing the slevee.

hey guys i was sleveed on 9/7 i was released today, i must say only compliant i have is that i couldnt keep any thing down, as of today i've been better, before leaving my dr. came to tell me that my stomach was in my chest and i had a herna, which he was able to remove it, and complete my sleeve.

I had my surgery yesterday and am doing great! I did have trouble getting my bladder to work but now it is fine. I can tell when my 4 hours are up for pain meds! They are very good about keeping on top of it. I go home tomorrow.Good luck to all of you.
I alao had my suegery yeaterday and am doing well, so far my thoat is bothering me.

Tomorrow starts my new life change for the best, yes I will be sleeved 9/7/12, I know my god will bring me through and over my recovery. I really would like to thank you guys her on this site, you all have answer a lot of my questions, and have given me more then enough window and knowledge about being sleeved, the do's and the do nots! I will update you us when I can, keep those prayer up for me.

You were allowed carrots?!First week of mien was milk milk and more milk 4pints a day I rang them and asked if I could eat a couple of sticks of cucumber I got told NO!
I badly wanted something crunchy I was craving apples true fully but wasn’t allowed it lol
I cheated in my first week but I was also really sick on the milk diet in the end so bad infact I was taken off the milk diet and switched to a food diet which was fine my second week I was good and never strayed from my diet.
Wow, my dr told me no milk. I guess every one is different.

I am going to CC next week on Tuesday to be sleeved by Dr. Szomstein. I live west Pembroke Pines....We have the same Dr. Good luck, how are you doing with your pre op

Thank you !!!!! I need much encouragement. I have a huge list of comorbidities. I am 48' date=' 5'4" with a wt of 274 . I want to do this I'm tired of being sick and tired. I just don't want to be a repeat failure. One of my girlfriends has Gastric bypass over 1 yr ago and she looks wonderful. I'm tired of being the big girl in the group with the pretty face.
