The "yes whey" from Bariatric Advantage are high quality whey Protein isolate. They are the only shot on the market that I am aware of that is made with quality Proteins. If you try them please let me know how they go down. Althought I can say the Protein is of good quality' date=' I have no idea what they taste like.[/quote']
I am doing the fruit punch ones. Because I'm only 11 days out and having a hard time getting 60g protein in still. They are sour, which to me is a nice change to the sweetness if the shakes I am drinking, so I don't mind them. I tried the New Whey ones pre op before I found out they are worthless. The yes whey ones taste a lot better to me.

I can not believe how excited i am to add yogurt! Woo hoo!

Congrats! It feels like its taking forever then after, it feels like it went so fast.

I used 1T of raspberry sugar free Syrup in the Roadside Lemonade and that was good. There is so many things you can do with lemon flavor. I bought the iced tea, the lemonade and the chocolate truffle. Choc truffle with sugar free vanilla and steamed milk is wonderful. Like hot chocolate. Love it, but I preferred the fruity ones mixed in Water or ff Greek yogurt.

I put the apple in Fage fat free Greek yogurt. It was good. The crystal sky one tastes like sweet tarts.

True lemon is good. True lemon with raspberry is good. I've never seen these other flavors either.
-
I think everyone feels that way.

The full liquid thing is kinda odd. I'm 1 week out, but I am starting full liquids and I got all excited and bought Greek yogurt. (Fage + Unjury strawberry sorbet = Nummee). But it is not listed until the purée stage for me too. But, pre op it was on the list of "full liquids". I shouldn't complain though. Just got to start Protein Shakes again today. Haven't had a chance to get sick of them yet.

I switched from Almanza to Garcia too. My boss said she wasn't sure if I could have time off if I was going to go to a surgery center instead of a hospital.
-
I would love to join that. Dr Garcia was great and I have had no problems with the surgery part. I did have some issues with my allergies though. I had some troubles with the nurses and night docs, but Dr Velasco, Dr Garcia and Dr Luna were really great!

I had a reaction to surgical tape after my sleeve surgery. It was hot and blistery. So, I've been taking Benadryl and antibiotics and this area is starting to slowly clear. 6 days post op now.
Anyway, now I developed a rash on both arms and both legs. I had a similar rash after I had my daughter that was due to the post pregnancy hormone shift. Has anyone else had this? I know there is sometimes a hormone shift after WLS and was wondering If this might be the reason. It looks and feels the same as my post pregnancy rash.

They say to sip all day. I am for sure hoping I can take in more than 1.5 oz at a time eventually.

hi everyone!hope everyone is doing good. I was running a fever last night and it started scaring me. i climbed up to100.1. im sooooo nervous about leaks..super afraid. i felt better when i woke up this morning and my fever was gone. back to a normal temp. question to all you 5 day post op sleevers is..are u getting a sharp 2 second pain in the chest area after you drink? i walked a bunch these past few days and havent had any gas pains really. yesterday this pain was frequent' date=' not as bad as today but still there. Is this the dreaded gas pain???? and are u guys still experiencing this?? im not sure how long they usually last. Also, my stomac was making some noises (like growling) earlier today, was scaring me a lil, but then i went to bathroom and finally had a BM (sorry too much info), and then it went away, but have u guys had this growling too? thank u so much for any experience input.. <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />[/quote']
Yes, I get the short sharp pain in the chest when i drink anything. And yes, my tummy talks quite loudly. I had surgery Nov 5th and have yet to meet my liquid or Protein requirements. Trying to sip on Isopure right now. I couldn't choke down the orange or green tea, but I am trying the grape. Good luck to you!

I reacted to the tape, and have a bit of cellulitis. Waiting for the doc to come and take out the staples. Hoping for some different antibiotics when the doc gets here.

Nice idea Amazon. I went out and got some bento boxes. They had some really cute ones at
The Japanese 1.50 store. And I got some small glass lock and lock containers there too. That store was an awesome find.

Only one doc I've heard of doesn't use coordinators, by he is not cheaper in price. He just keeps more of the pie.

I will try chike soon. As soon as I need a break from what I have. Sounds like most people like it.

This talk makes me worry a little. I already have a man that is a little too big and a little too rough at times. I'm hoping I don't get any smaller in there, or we may have a problem. I already warned him when I get home we need to be having lazy sex for a bit. He agreed to try. Fingers crossed.

They said we would be going to the hotel early in the morning, but they didn't say if that was US early or Mexican early. They are very laid back here, so sometimes when they say 8 they really mean 11 or 12.

I'm in room 305. I have ventured up to the 4th floor twice to see Barbara in room 401. My friend keeps going up to make her walk. Which floor are you on?

I'm only 11 days post op. down only 9 lbs since surgery, but down from a tight 22 to a comfortable 20 already. Can't wait to rotate out sizes in my closet. Maybe I'll make more room in there for my Fiancé. Ha ha! Not likely!
