Taking this all in. I wonder how things are going to be for me when I have the surgery done. I'm glad that you guys are very real and honest here. I have 9more months, and it helps to learn the ups and downs of vsg.

Congratulations. You look fabulous! It gives us hope out there to see others acheive their goals!

I have a minimum of 9mths before being approved for surgery. I've eliminated drinking the sodas. I have to work on the fast food and sweets. I have been eating until my stomach feels like it's going to pop during the holidays. I have to get back on track. Thanks to the previous posters about the advice.

Thank you. -
I have to do all of this before they will approve of me to have WLS.

I have to participate in their weight coaching program for 12mths and also enroll in a weight loss program like Weight Watchers. I enrolled in TOPS.

Commonwealth of Virginia making me wait 12 mths. Ugh. I have 9 more to go. If you've been through it, how did you spend your time?

I def think I was overlooked.

Fishy, I understand. There were guys that I wouldn't normally chose. There was one guy I exchanged messages with and then all of a sudden nothing. Just no true connections. Trust me they were not viable options. Though I get what you're saying.

I dont think there is such a thing as true love...Maybe lust?I'm still waiting on my prince charming.... STILL WAITING.
WTF is taking so long
LOL. I think I've been watching too much Once Upon a Time. Prince Charming us actually a character. LOL. Started with Netflix now catching up on Hulu.

Get out and become more social. Church' date=' community activities, etc. you said you work and come home only to go out and shop so that is why you are not meeting anyone your not making yourself available. Remember go places where the kind of man you are looking for might be: book clubs, art gallery, enrichment place such as museums and so forth.[/quote']Good idea. I do need to get out more. I really need to work on going out alone. If I'm out socially, its usually with friends.

I found it. This one is stuck with me- and I'm stuck with him. Hell- his mom told me even if we split up- she's claiming me. I got married and divorced young. I was in love with the idea of being in love. Now- I can't imagine my life without who I am with now. We compliment each other in every aspect- and have the best communication I could ever ask for. And I met him at my highest weight. He loves me for me- not for my awesome body.. (why oh why is there not a sarcasm font?!). You will find someone when you least expect it!Thank you.

Girl you cracked me up. I feel the same way. I am married but its very rocky so i often wonder if i will
LOL. I just laughed reading my quote. I'm just being honest.

Fishy, I didn't find them physically or intellectually attractive. In addition, there were some with incomplete profiles or seemed suspect. One guy had a spelling issue. I'm educated, and that was a pet peeve of mine. One guy's photo looked as if he was in his mom's basement. I just didn't get contacted by someone I felt was interested in getting to know me for me, and was on my level intellectually.

There are men out there interested in plus size women' date=' believe me this I know. What online sites did you go on? There are dating sites dedicated to plus size women and their admirers. Did you post multiple photos? What about your profile message? Feel free to email me, I could provide some pointers.[/quote']
I did several: interracial match, match.com, eharmony, Christian mingle, plenty of fish, and the other free one, can't remember the name. Someone told me about plus size dating sites. The only thing about that is that I don't want a chubby chaser. I want someone to love me for me. Any tips you have feel free to private message me.
I'm open to suggestion. Thanks.

I found my soulmate. True love is out there.Aww. I hope so for me too.

No one else can love you if you don't love yourself. I found the love of my life when I was 468 pounds. He loves me for everything that I am and nothing that I am not. I can not wait until June 21' date=' 2014 when I become his wife.[/quote']Congratulations! I'd like to think I love myself. I mean, I'm not happy with my weight, but not sure what else I can do.
-
True love may be possible' date=' but realistically it may not. The first thing you have to do is be happen with yourself. Just because you are fat, doesn't mean you are not "desirable" you have to be confident and go out there and stun the world. What have you been doing to find your mate? Do you go out? Online dating?[/quote']Well, I've tried online dating with different sites and no one contacted me that I was interested in. The ones that I were interested in were not in me. I think because of my weight. I work and come home. I do go out, buy that's to shop.
I hate this surgery.
