  1. We have the same surgeon :) When I'm hungry, I either 1) drink some Water 2) Get up to use the bathroom or walk around the office and chat for a second 3) pop in a piece of gum. If none of those help, I'll make sure its close to lunch time and eat my lunch, or eat one of the Protein packed Snacks I brought to work.

Dr. Carmody is a rock star!

  2. Surgery 10-17-13

    HW: 295

    SW: 272

CW: 251(got down to 249, but then my period happened. I gained 3lbs and have been stuck at 251 for 3 days)

I'm wondering if that's normal during that time for us women. I would suggest weighing in like once a week taunting yourself daily or every few days can be discouraging...hopefully after your monthly visit you will bounce bk...pls update on that I'm a little curious...good luck

Hi. I'm down to 242 now. I'm trying to get into the 230s. I'm hoping it happens for me soon. I'm losing weight slower than I imagined. Though looking at the post I made earlier, I'm glad I'm not in the 250s. :)

  3. Hi, I was sleeved on the 17th. I'm not sure if I'm entering a stall of if my body is still holding on to Fluid because it's that TOM. I'm on the last days, so I'm wondering. I'm also learning how to eat slow and take small bites. I've been doing a lot of belching when I eat, and when I eat some foods with more texture I feel it in my chest. It is very uncomfortable and annoying. I truly hope that this goes away. I hope as time goes on food slides down easy.

Okay. It seems like it happened to me right when the dreaded "3rd week stall" happens. So I'm not sure. But my weight has actually gone up another lb. It's crazy. I'm hardly eating anything. Weird. I'll def. keep you updated.

  5. Congrats on surgery! Let us know how your doing afterwards!

Hi. I'm doing well. Each day it gets better. The only lasting pain I have is the largest incision on my right side. I am so anxious to start mushies. I got to my check-up appointment on 10/31. I am noticing that some days it's hard to get those fluids in. I'm trying though. I have different juices and am trying. You are very inspirational, I will take into account really limiting the carbs and keeping a good amount of Protein in my daily diet.
