  1. Fran.....I was told it was old blood from my surgeon.
  2. I was on a liquid diet for 3 weeks then a pureed diet for another 3 week and then 3 weeks of soft foods. Each surgeon has their own rules.
  3. I would follow up with ur primary doctors nurse. I'm sure it's fine, but I would make a call just in case.
  4. It's for dehydration. Just drink as much as you can!
  5. 112 pound down and 2 pounds to goal. I now weigh 147
  6. Thank you so much Kathy! My sister in law cried before I did when he said it! I have an amazing family!!!
  7. Thank you! Hardest thing I've ever done in my life!!!
  8. I went back to work after a week but was on restrictions of not lifting over 10 pounds for a month.
  9. Hw: 259 Sw: 241 Cw: 198 Surgery was January 22, 2014 Can't believe I finally weigh less than 200 pounds. My baby brother gave me the best compliment last night by telling me I wasn't his big sister anymore...... I'm now his "little" sister. Had me in tears!!! No more fat suit for this girl!
  10. I was sleeved 1/22.....sw 241 cw 211 We are almost identical. I've been going on a 3 week stall now.

  16. She's having it done in Mexico..... they don't have the same laws as us.
  17. You went UP in cup size?
  18. You can refuse to take them out. I refused for 2 different surgeries. Have then tape them and all will be fine. They only tell you to remove then for the sole purpose if you need to be shocked because ur heart stops, you can get burned from it. There is nothing they can do if you refuse. I even refused to take my wedding ring off. They just taped that too.
  19. Not sure if it's too many calories but my NUT said to stay under 5 grams of sugar for each meal and snack. No more than 30 grams a day.
  20. Thanks guys! At this point, I'm crossing my eyes too!!!!
  21. Peer to peer is the step right before you would appeal. I have my back surgeon and pcp going to bat for me. The only reason I was denied in the first place was because of lack of weight documented by the hospital/clinic. They took my vitals and temperature but hardly ever took my weight. I have pictures to prove I've been over weight for years but the insurance company won't allow them for proof.
  22. I'm trying to.....its been a long journey so far. I'm not willing to give up just yet!!!
  23. My peer to peer is scheduled for this Thursday. If the insurance company overturns their decision and approves me, my surgery will be scheduled for February. FINGERS CROSSED!!!!
