  1. Once I made the decision to have surgery (I didn't know which one at the time)' date=' I did nothing but research. I researched and read and asked and talked about it. I decided to be sleeved when I talked to the surgeon.

Since then I have done nothing but research, ask and read. Now that I start my liquid diet tomorrow, I'm comfortable with the knowledge I have.

No question is stupid if you don't know the answer. Ask.

    Good luck![/quote']

Thank you! I have been doing the same thing... LOL. I have a portfolio dedicated to my surgery with notes and questions and print outs. I have a really nice surgeon. He was so easy to talk to. I talked to my UHC bariatric nurse today, she was also nice and very helpful. Things are looking good. Just hope the time flies,! Good luck to you as well! Let me know how it goes...

  2. O.k. so I went for my first visit. I met with Dr. Brent W. Allain Jr. with The surgeons Group of Baton Rouge yesterday. He is really nice and so was his staff. He made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions. I am waiting to hear from my coordinator, Josette today, to see what she finds out from UHC, as far as pre op requirements and stuff. I'm so excited and nervous. I am a very impatient person... LOL... Wish me Luck!
