Shelly I've just started taking zinc and EXTRA Biotin and started drinking Protein Shakes again. In a matter of a few days I feel like my Hair loss has slowed a bit. Not completely stopped but I'm losing less hair. Give that a try too. I'm just as frazzled as you are! Hopefully this nonsense stops! I want to try as much as possible before I start using hair treatments. Keep me posted on your progress! I'll be praying for all of us!

OMGosh!! Yes, Drain-o is my new best friend! My hair is everywhere!! On the couch, in the restroom, in my car! I'm shedding galore! I hope it stops soon.

TheGamer it's just a little unsettling to see all that hair in my hand and not on my head! I'm glad I'm losing weight and becoming healthier, but sheesh is it scary!

I was sleeved in October. About a few weeks ago I started losing a ridiculous amount of hair. I mean clumps of hair coming out at a time. I am taking all my Vitamins. Multivitamin, Biotin, Omega 3, Iron, B12, and Zinc. My labs came back great. What can I do to stop the Hair loss, besides buy myself a wig?

The sad thing is that I'm already at full liquids. My doctor allows full liquids on day 3. But I still digest it quickly and I'm hungry!! It does hold you a little longer.

I feel the exact same way. They just made fried chicken at my house. The entire house smells like it!! I'm sitting in my room with a Popsicle in one hand and an air freshened in the other. Needless to say there's a lot of pouting! :-/

My coordinator seems to submit paperwork for me, but I don't really hear from her. When I call to ask for her, she relays the message through another person. I'm sure she's super busy but it just makes you feel like you're nothing more than a file number and scheduling slot. The office in general is pretty efficient, but not very communicative. :-/ I'm starting to think my coordinator is a mythical creature...

I would be totally open about my surgery, and explain that you need to get away a few times to replenish. People are more forgiving when they know your story. We have a diabetic surgeon who has to leave occasionally to check his blood sugar and eat. I'm sure they'll understand a few extra runs to drink and eat. Just remember to be patient and extra helpful. All will be forgiven! We love helpful residents, and don't bother with small details like that!
