  1. I don't have fibro, but ankylosing spondylitis....was worried about a flare and had just the opposite! In leas than 2 weeks my psoriasis has cleared and I've been on humira for a year! My neck and back have hardly hurt! I've been mostly pain free for almost 2 weeks! The surgery pain is Sooooo minimal too! I am 10 days out and feel completely normal! Like I've not had surgery!!!!! Amazing!
  2. It's not unusual ...I've had several surgeries and never sleep well after. .nothing to do with position. This surgery was virtually painless and I didn't sleep well ay first either. I raised the head if my bed and sat there to watch the news. I woke up @ 10am!!! I've not slept 11 hours in decades! I was in that perfect zero gravity position and just slept!!! Felt good!!!
  3. Don't let it get too bad! I didn't go for about 5 days and had a morning in the bathroom....well, I went, it wasn't pretty! Taking MOM everyother day if I don't go...seems Protein Shakes are rather binding! LOL
  4. I'm 50 and never needed glasses to see my cell phone, but all my friends did! It was my diabetes!
  5. I am less than 2 weeks out and shocked at the changes in my vision! I am 50 and by up close finally when bad bad and my far away is normal again! I bet I am 20/20! Off all diabetes meds but one
  6. I agree .. I live alone and days after surgery I probably asked 100 questions....it helped so much in not feeling alone!
  7. Probably isn't water weight IF she did a pre-op diet. I think the question should be answered...."depends" of you've got a high bmi like over 50 it is sort of slow. If your bmi is in the 35 range then it's not slow ...IMHO
  8. I'd you have Sonic where you live....I love getting a sf cherry ice! I can eat on it for nearly an hour!
  9. All diabetes meds but one! All hbp meds AND 10 lbs! Can't beat that with a stick!
  10. You'll see quick results. I am one week out and went to pcp today. She took me off 5 diabetes meds and one bp med! Plus, I lost 10lbs!
  11. I am day 7....I made some runny mashed potatoes made with my delish chicken broth mom and I made. I finally didn't feel weak and starving! My surgeon will only approve Jello and broth besides the Protein and Water of course. I was just losing it! Too long including pre-op!
  12. I had my surgery 6 days ago and I get weaker every day. I had no clue my stomach would feel like this. I never an free from feeling my sleeve and it feels like I am starving! I worry that I am day 6 and showering exhausted me!
  13. That's a lot of carbs and calories for few Protein grams
  14. I had coffee the next day! Decaf of course!
  15. Can't wait....I haven't lost a pound until today and was down 6. I put the scales away! Not gonna get obsessed! I was so swollen when I came home from hosp because the pump you full if fluids!
  16. No necessarily....I am to take June normally and can't have apple sauce.....too much sugar
  17. I've never had a c-section but this surgery is miserable the first 12-20 hours then whamo!!! It's like you cross a threshold and you are exponentially better! All surgeries are miserable the first day with pain and anesthesia, but I am 4 days out and would do it again ....
  18. I had mine a day before you...I have no issues getting enough Fluid or Protein and had the same fear! I think we had exceptional surgeons who did such an awesome job we have little swelling or trauma. My incisions don't even really hurt. I've bounced back quickly and I'm 50 years old!
