  1. It wasn't bad! By the end I wasn't even hungry & had to force myself to drink them! Robyn
  2. New to the post op section of the boards! Was sleeved 9/4 by Dr. Kim in Dallas. Everything went great, had some bleeding from the incision they pull the stomach out of that wouldn't stop. Finally got that stopped with pressure bandages (OUCH!!!), and was released around noon today. Able to keep drinking fluids, and having minimal nausea, and slight pain. Most pain is from the incision that wouldn't stop bleeding. Happy to be on the "loser bench"!! :-) Robyn
  3. I had mine the 4th as well. Just came home around noon. I had lots of bleeding from the incision they pulled the stomach thru. They couldn't get it to stop bleeding, put pressure bandages on it (OUCH!). I am just mostly sore now. Robyn
  4. Thanks everyone! So far since starting the Water I've had no nausea! Yay! And I don't think my incision is leaking anymore. They are going to let me shower soon. I'm sure that will make me feel better too. Robyn
  5. I'm alive! Yesterday was hell, but so far today I actually feel semi human. I am not exaggerating when I say the first day is hell. But believe anyone who tells you that walking makes you feel a ton better! Anesthesia always causes me to get sick so I have had zofran every 6 hours or less. One of my incisions (I have 6!) hasn't stopped bleeding (at least as of about 2 hours ago), so if it doesn't stop I will have to stay another night. If it looks fine I will be able to go home today. I just finished my 4 "shots" of Water in an hour & threw up the gastrographen (sp??) before I started the water. That stuff is horrible. Anesthesia is wearing off & I am feeling a lot better. :-) just my quick update! Robyn
  6. Gassing up before we head to the hossy! I must be first today, my surgery is at 7:30! Excited, a little nervous (knew it would hit just before surgery). Will try to keep you updated!
  7. Thanks!! I am already dying here without my lotion! I knew no makeup, but wasn't sure about lotions. :-(
  8. Can I wear lotion? I'd prefer to shave my legs in the morning, but I have to wear lotion after shaving! Anyone know? What about deodorant? I haven't had a surgery where I had to stay, and I forgot to ask the nurse!!
  9. Tuesday here, and I am only excited! Probably won't get nervous until just before. I think my husband is more freaked than I ever will be.
  10. I believe there is an entire section devoted to revisions! I am getting sleeved 9/4, so I am no help (first WLS ever), but I have seen many going for revisions!
  11. I wish I could have a protein bar! I can have shakes, broth, sf Jello, sf popscicles. I'd like to have some fruit. That sounds great!
  12. Absolutely. I haven't been too hungry lately! Today we are at the movies (Movie Tavern) and I'm starving watching everyone eat! I want something. Fruit, cheese, something! Are you with Dr. Kim?
  13. Is it bc pills are hard to swallow? What's the reasoning behind a chewable vitamin?
  14. Me too!! I slipped a few times, only one was a bad choice! I had a slice of pizza. Nothing since then though!
  15. I am having surgery Tuesday as well! I don't feel nervous at all. I guess it's bc I am so ready!
