Hi ladies. I think my stall might finally be moving. I weighed 157 back at that time then bounced at 161/160 for 5-6 weeks. Then yesterday 159 and today 158. So hoping! I didnt get online much during this time stalling as it was going on for so long.
I have a question regarding ovarian mass if anyone knows anything. A kidney stone last Thanksgiving had an MRI pick up possible left ovarian mass. A following ultrasound didnt see it due to stomach gas' date=' but indicated the uterine lining being thick which my nurse said could be either menopause or cancer. A recent CT scan didnt say anything about the lining bit did confirm the ovary mass. My surgeon recommended an ob gyn for my primary dr to refer me to and my appt is may 6th. Do you have any info on this and also what impact following surgeries may have (if any) on our weight loss progress?[/quote']
Hey I had a large mass taking over my right ovary before I had VSG. My CA 125 ( blood test for cancer ) came back highly elevated. He went in and removed the entire ovary and praise god it was benign! Keep thinking positive and prayers are sent up for you. I'm not sure how it will effect your diet. However the surgery for me was just about more recovery than really not eating or eating. I would say for me ( I recover slowly) it was about two weeks before I was walking and or working out ect.

I agree 100% I tell everyone that asks and most people do.... By the way a few people are having VSG bc of me! So it's worth telling!
Love the long re-post about telling some that you are on a high Protein diet which is true... I'm an open book but I do get that some people aren't and that's ok too

I have had just about every test there can be done I'm now pushing for a pituitary gland test. I see the new Doc on the 22nd I see my pcp in the morning to go over the ultrasound test and I'm going to ask him for the pituitary gland test. I think I would do Rny or DS if all test come back as normal the sleeve dose have a 20% chance of failure maybe I fell in that 20%. Hell if I know lmao I do know that I'm kicking ass at my p90x again feels good knee has not been hurting muchSent from my iPhone using VST
Good luck keep us posted and we will all support you in whatever u decide to do!

Art song! I read your posts but never say anything cause I know you were trying to be so positive. There has to be an issue a real one that can explain. I wish I wish I wish I had an answer for you. I don't but girl I've been praying for ya! I'd be so upset too! Do not have rny!!! Sounds weird but have you stopped working out. Cause I know you have been diligent in workouts since beginning.... I ask this bc like me a lot of us are just now having to work out for toning purposes and weren't as diligent as u in the beginning....

I don't know if this has anything to do with sleeve but everything smells bad or funny. I know about the taste thing but didn't expect the smell thing.Omg! I thought I was crazy. I couldn't smell people's breaths or food that was highly seasoned. I'm thinking ketosis Maybe, it did go away once I started real food thank god. I couldn't kiss my hubby because I could smell his sinuses. Ewe!!!!!

New gma! Love the new profile pic
I do see changes in my looks. Teach5 I am also sept 25 down 73 today... My nurse told me to take pics and put them up. I didn't put them on mirror but I have I my phone it helps. My waist is tiny I mean tiny my hips are my largest however I do feel smaller, when I get to a size though it seems I get used to that size for a whole and then don't see changes. Does that make sense. I'm sure you look fantastic! Just start feeling it.fake it till you do it works!!!
Love, brandy

I would be concerned too, wonder if before you were in starvation mode and ur body wouldn't lose just a thought... W a smaller tummy we don't seem to go into that starvation but I could be wrong.

I've always been overweight though. And 2000 calories is alot for me. Even being 9 months pregnant I'm only eating 1' date='400. I've been tracking my calories for over 5 years. Sure there are days I eat around 2500 but that's very rare (usually when we go to dinner and a movie). It just seems like everyone started eating 800 cals a day and magically started loosing. I only eat 900-1000 cals when in not pregnant and I don't loose weight. Very frustrating.[/quote']
You will lose the weight if you have the surgery I can promise you that. Are you having second thoughts? As that is truly normal

I really feel that I was in same boat. I was "healthy" for most part other than wine and stuff. After my three kids and stopped nursing I gained the weight. I didn't excersise but was active. . I prob ate around 2000-2500 a maybe. I'm now 4 mths out and have lost 69 lbs I couldn't have done this without. I had the same feeling of can't I just do the same thing and lose??? It's not the same the surgery changes you hormonally .... I can explain it but glad I did it. Congrats on your baby

You look fantastic!!! Wow!

Oops never mind Cheri, just saw your other post on how to cook!
-
For a long time it was Jerky. Now I'm not so very into meat - especially since I got pregnant - and my very favorite snack right now is roasted chickpeas.I do them with a sweeter blend of spices or I do them with paprika' date=' garlic and onion. YUM.
Or hummus, with some homemade pita chips and an assortment of veggies.
I'm on a chickpea kick right now, and blame the pregnancy. It's a far better craving than the chicken nuggets (gag!) I wanted with my twins.

Cheri, roasted chickpeas??? Sounds yummy! Can I ask how long and what temp also do you lightly coat w olive oil? Thanks for the IDEA
