I don't have a typical day yet. I'm six weeks out and some days are better than others.

I can eat yogurt crackers with no problem. I can't do Protein shakes right now they make me sick. I drink sobe Water and sometimes a slice of cheese.

I was sleeved on 8/21. First week was liquid and now I'm on puréed foods. Really boring. I eat Protein Shake yogurt applesauce and mashed potatoes. That's eat. Everyday. I'm not hungry but am bored with this diet. I'm down 18 pounds from highest weight.

I also had my surgery on the 21st and I drank diluted apple juice and lots of Popsicles. I bought Protein Drinks can't stomach them. Tried the Unjury chicken broth made me nausea and the unflavored Protein smelled and taste ungodly. I feel fine with just drinking. I went for a walk today had a little bit of chicken broth from chicken soap that I could stomach and I felt great no problems. I've already lost 8 lbs. woohoo!!! You'll be fine just stay hydrated and walk as much as you can. Good luck:)

One thing I've noticed is that I really do need to be sitting up very straight' date=' or at times kind of lean back when drinking. I realize now how badly I slouch right were my esophagus meets my stomach. The right wound where they took out my stomach hurts more if I don't stay on top of the Tylenol. (which is really wierd, because I never thought Tylenol worked at all). Don't let yourself get dehydrated! You WILL get through this!!!!! You were tough enough to have this done, you can certainly handle these bumps/ mountains in the road. Keep us posted. We're here for you.[/quote']

I feel the same way! I feel normal again like it never happened. I thought my insides would feel a bit different but they don't

You two are truly lucky. I'm not in intense pain but I'm in pain and it feels like something was pulled out of me in the right side. Still adjusting to everything. Trying to get the fluids in which is hard and the Protein yea I'm lucky if I get in 10 grams a day.

I don't have any regrets. I thought long and hard about my decision and im in it for the long haul. No one said it was going to be easy. Thanks for all the support my VST family:)

Gas from the surgery or gas as in acid reflux <- this is the one that is getting me. Pepcid my old New best freind.lol.

Not sure. Don't really know the difference yet I guess:(

Congrats to all the recent sleevers and those up to be sleeved. The pre-op diet is worth it' date=' the post op diet is tough but again, necessary. We will all be there with you![/quote']

I wish mine was early so I could get it over with. My nerves are really getting the best of me right now

Brady i had my surgery 7 das ago and so far no regrets. Akes a bit of getting used to' date=' sipping slowly but I've already lost 13kg out of the 35kg i have to lose. This includes 2 week pre op. Good Luck

Me 2 in Philadelphia pa @ 630am at Pennsylvania hospital wish me luck when I got the call I got super nervous sh*t just got real! Lol I've started a cleaning spree at home. My heart was beating so fast this is my first surgery ever.
