  5. It looks as if he's online now. How is that possible?
  6. I heard our hair would fall out no matter what due to the estrogen changes as fat cells release hormones. My doc said 90 grams of protein (for energy not hair loss). It's really hard to do.

  13. Stating , "Mexico and Hispanics are tearing this country apart," is hostile and negative! Seriously this is not a forum for stating racist sentiments.
  14. Awesome! Can't wait to get there. That's "Biggest Loser" tough.
  15. Aah Phew! I was worried you'd spring a leak. Hang in there.
  16. Are you sure you can have Celery already? That seems a little rough for our unhealed stomachs. My hunger didn't completely go away until this week-week 4. Protein is what keeps me going....
  17. I was really concerned that I would feel like that forever, but as soon as you go under, it really is over! It feels sort of miraculous. And like I said, I almost gave up in the two days.
  18. Pre-op was definitely the worst, and mine was only two days! I barely made it. When I see what others have to do, I'm in awe. The best I can offer is that you'll never feel this way again! Hang in there!
  19. It still could be something else, I'm glad you're going to call your doctor.
  20. Try bariatric foodie, emilybites or the world according to egg face. I can't eat much yet, but they have great ideas!
  21. Antibiotics have always given me yeast infections...
  22. I was sleeved on the 21st. I started at 255 and am down to 232. I'm still on soft foods. I'm going through some sort of wierd let down. I'm wondering if it's because life was very exciting and scary up until this, and now it's normal? I can't figure it out. I should be dancing on the ceiling right?
  23. The leg cramps are probably hydration, but you might also need potassium. As for the other, so did I. I think it was a reaction to the IV antibiotics. Try rinsing with water twice a day....we have to remember all of this will pass. Yay! On the 10lbs!!!!
  24. My surgery was August21st. That was my biggest concern. Because you are getting rid of the ghrelin hormone, you will feel differently, and just plain will not be able to use food for emotional reasons. Yay! Try to find some fun things to do instead. I only had to do two days pre-op liquid and I was dying. I really feel for you. It will pass, I promise!
