  1. I have a question. I had my tt and BA 9 weeks ago tomorrow. I still feel discomfort in my abdominal muscles when I move quickly or strain a little. Butter do you still have this? Anyone else who is further out have experience? How long until the muscle feel "normal?" I don't feel like I can go back to exercising my abs at this point with out pain. I keep thinking of going out to run, but the swelling and pulling stops me.

  2. I have been lucky with not much reflux, but I have never had a big problem with it. There are two reasons for it though. One, your abdomen is VERY tight and it limits how much your stomach can stretch as well as the compression from your garments or binder do the same. The fruit may not help either due to the acidity. Hope this helps.

  3. Thank you! I love it all do far! I just can't wait for the swelling to go down. As far as my breasts, I wanted to be proportionate. I am 5'8 and 160# so no small hips here. I certainly did not want them entering a room before me!

  5. I totally agree! I did not have plastics to look perfect. It actually drives my dr crazy that I won't let him lift my nipple so that they are symmetrical. I just want to look Normal in clothes! I look sooooo much better even with swelling. I am not getting my arms or legs done even though I could, but I can just wear shorts or board shorts to swim in.

  6. Ok here I go! Back to real life. I start back at work today. I have been dreading this day. I really enjoyed my time off! The only upside is that I get to show off my new figure! I still have a lot of swelling over 5 weeks out in my tummy. My breasts look fantastic though! I will be interested to see how going back to work effects me as far as the swelling and how tired I will be when I get home.

  7. Well, as far as measurements, I was the same for a while. Now I am down maybe 2 inches with my cg on. I would measure now with it off, but I slept with it off and I think I am swollen because of it. Clothes fit much different and I am down a whole size and everything looks good! I am also down about 4#. I understand that the swelling can last up to 6 months.

My VSG scars... I have 2 left? The big one on the right is still there though is very low now. Also I can see a small one much higher. I scar very well and can't see any others. No hair though thank god!

  8. Ok tried to post this in the vets forum , but evidently I don't post enough even though I am definitely a vet!

I had a tt with flank Lipo, and BA a little over 4 weeks ago. I am still at home but go back to work next week and am not looking forward to it. I have enjoyed being at home!!! As far as the cg, I am totally with you! When taking them off for the first week I got dizzy and nauseous! Better after that. I tried to sleep last night with it off because it has been uncomfortable to sleep in my bed with it on. However, it was just as uncomfortable without it! My flanks hurt where the lipo was done! I have been off pain meds for about 2 weeks! Watch out butter the lipo pain returns when the numbness goes away after about 3.5 weeks! Not bad, but sore! My mom tells me that even after months, she still has some burning. My biggest issue has been ultra sensitivity and a raw feeling in the skin of my breasts after my ba. Not awful, but very uncomfortable. I am wracking my brain on an alternative for compression garments and sleeping that is more comfortable. Ok enough of MY rambling. Hope everyone is doing well!

  9. Lol I can actually see him saying that!! I am glad that you are feeling better. Be careful with that shower... It is exhausting and you will need standby help. The first one was the only one I needed help with. After that no problem. I think my blood pressure dropped when the binder or garment was off and made me nauseous and dizzy.

  10. Both if my drains had less than 30cc by the end if the first week. He would only take out one though. You may get 2 out though. The drainage increases a bit when you get into a compression garment and out of the binder. The compression garment is no fun to get on and off. Be prepared for the first shower to be great but not easy. Make sure there is someone available to help.

  11. Yay!!! The last drain is out!!! It is so much easier to go to the bathroom and I have my pocket back. It is hard to believe that my surgery was less than 2 weeks ago! I feel so good. I look good too! I went to target and tried on some clothes. It is going to be hard not to buy clothes now! EVERY thing looks good! I am now a size 8! I started at a size 24 and 297 in May of last year. Now I am 164 5'8 and a size 8. Was a size 10 before my tt. He says I will be smaller still because of the swelling. I don't think I will be a 6 though.

  12. You look fantastic! Dr I was stunned that we were connected in a way. I think that he was startled that there is discussion on message boards! He took out my last drain and is very happy. I turns out he took 4lb off of me plus the Lipo.
