    Waxing...down There.

After my first waxing it was 24 hours before things calmed down and the redness went away. But I'm pretty sure that wouldn't have been an issue to stop me. LOL Just wish I hadn't waited so long in life to try it!
  2. That is freaking awesome! Way to go!

    Sport Top Water Bottle

I finally settled on one by Rubbermaid which has a flip top lid (no straw) and holds 32 oz. I like to know that I need to drink two in a day. Simple! Plus wide mouth for easy cleaning and for adding ice.

    December Sleveers!

I actually have the same surgery date as you so I will be starting my liquid diet the same day. I don't fear it as much because I've been practicing it on and off over the past month. For me I find that my hunger levels go down when I'm low carbing like that. Just keep your eye on the bigger picture and you will do fine. We can do this!

    Anybody Do Any Barefoot Running?

Good luck! I did a marathon in Arizona and was passed by a guy running BAREFOOT. it was his 100th marathon running completely barefoot. It was amazing. Of course I was soon passed by a cute little old lady...I want to be as fast as her someday!

    Anybody Do Any Barefoot Running?

My husband is an ultra runner and has progressed to zero drop shoes. It's something you have to work into very slowly to avoid injury. Some love it some don't. The thing that has helped him the most is cross training. He's hoping to do a 100 mile race in a little over a month. So he cross trains on a bike and an eliptigo. I hope to figure out how to enjoy a marathon let alone an ultra! Maybe next year. Good luck!

    Dreaming About Surgery

I keep having a post op dream that I'm in the liquid only stage and I just ate real food! Seems to be a reoccurring theme in my dreams. Guess I'm worried I'll forget I just had surgery.

I'm 5'7" too and freaked out when my surgeon's office measured me at 5'8"! I had shoes on and immediately declared that was not my correct height. Still came up at 40 bmi...whew!

Grrrr. This Part Is So Stressful!

Our weights have been in the same range! My final weigh in was today so they should be submitting my paperwork to insurance next week. I think others with our same insurance have gotten quick responses. Stay tuned and I will let you know. I have no other medical issues so we shall see. Stay positive!

Grrrr. This Part Is So Stressful!

I have the same insurance and in a similar situation. I have a 40 bmi this year but the last four years I've seriously tried to lose weight so I bounced from 200 to 260. The times I went to the doctor I was usually lighter. I will be pulling records from Urgent Care as well since they recorded my weight as well. I'm just hoping that they see that I'm at least trying...but I can't seem to get below 200. I don't have any other health issues so if they are going to deny me...this is going to be the sticking point for me. I'm finishing up my last NUT this Friday so I should be sending in my paperwork soon. I'll let you know how it goes!
