  1. I was the 5th. I still have some mild soreness. And sometimes when I eat or drink, I get a little pain / squeezing in the top left of my stomach. not all the time, just sporadically. Anybody else
  2. I agree with you. I think if your going to get one, your just going to get one. Doesn't mean I would eat pizza on week 2 :-)
  3. I had a fight with myself because my mom brought a still warm Italian loaf of bread. I passed on it lol. Not that I didn't want to
  4. I agree. That's some scary stuff. Thank god my will was strong enough for the post op diet of liquids
  5. Hey! I just started taking vitamins yesterday. Im hoping It makes a difference! I was finally able to get 30 minutes of cardio today. I switched it up. 15 of walking, 15 of elliptical

  9. Good luck to everybody having surgery! You will all do great!
  10. Thank you so much! But I have to be honest, I hardly ate anything for 2 days..Im sure that a lot to do with it..And I was never a back sleeper either..Just give it a few days and you'll feel more comfortable on your side..The body pillow help because you can put it between your knees and it takes a lot of pressure of your side and stomach..Try it out. At points I was so tired I did fall aleep on my back. I was amazed at this! A week from now and you will be able to sleep anyway you want :-)
  11. I should clarify..I was adavanced to puree. I was just so excited that I did not have to drink protein shakes 3 times a day, even puree seems like real food now So I am doing the mushy stuff for 4 weeks. However, even this is so much better than full liquid all day!! Hang in there! Dec 4th will be here before you know it..
  12. Thank you very much! I have to say, the first 2 days of post-op I hardly ate anything. I think that had a lot to do with the huge drop in weight. I 'll take it though..First time under 300 lbs in 10 years Woo-hoo!
  13. It really depends on the hospital/weight loss program. Generally, after your first consult, it takes 3-6 mos
  14. Had my 2 week post op yesterday. Im down 22 lbs since surgery. And I can eat regular food. So excited!!
  15. God didnt intend us to do the following: sit at a desk 40 hours a week have fast food restaurants with drive thrus have addictive , chemically engineered food with transfat, salt, sugar, and high fructose corn syrup have cars that drive us door to door everywhere were we go have us watch tv 20 hours a week have the animals we eat injected with growth hormones, antibiotics, and steroids. Causing our food to be higher in calories and fat. We could go on and on. If God didnt intend us to have WLS, than he wouldn't have let things become the way they are. We are the fattest country on earth.
