I am in total freak out mode! :-) I'm just so nervous because I've never had surgery before. I am also worried that something might go wrong. I know odds are so low. I'm just nervous. Having said that, I am excited for the change this will bring. I'm so ready for that. Stacy, reading your post really makes me feel better! Om sure I will have so many questions for you. Once I have surgery, I will ate end the meetings more regularly. I look forward to meeting you!

it's so weird. my dr is not putting me on a liquid diet. I've met my pre-op weight. I'm wondering if that's why

Thats exactly it , Lindsay! I so afraid to let go and not have any control or sense..They said I will go in Monday and most likely go home Wednesday..I know that my surgeon is excellent, and she has done so many of these..Im just being neurotic

I totally understand! Mine is next Monday and Im freaking out too. You will do fine. Remember that statistically, its safer than having your gallbladder out. They have done all types of tests on you to make sure your safe enough..You will do fine! Just remember, you worked so hard to get here, this is going to change your life.

A family member asked me, why not wait until Thanksgiving and Christmas.Your going to miss all that food?.To which I replied, "Well, I have eaten like it was Thanksgiving and Christmas on many days that were not. I'm not missing out on anything important..My family and friends will be there..Thats all that matters..I had forgot that for a long time."
