Going Back To Work...what To Take For Lunch?

Thanks for the topic, I'm headed back to work Monday too! Great question! Thanks DEZ for the ideas!

    One Month Photos

    That is awesome! Absolute difference!
  3. Oh yes, I've been dealing with the itchies too!
  4. When I had breast surgery my surgeon told me to use maxi pads. Great call Foxbins! I think it would work for this too.

    My Onderland Finally!

Congrats! I've been hovering around 202 for about 5 days now! I know that must be a good feeling to get those 2's behind you : )
  6. I have been drinking out of the 8oz cups too! You are right, it just feels more "do-able".
  7. I feel the same way! I'm only 12 days out and have been stuck for three days! Hard to understand...
  8. I'm not sure if this is a common side effect of the surgery, but for the past few days I have been crying at the drop of a hat! I'm not walking around depressed or anything, just will full on sob at the smallest things! Could this be surgery related?

    Week 6, Nothing Staying Down.

Prilosec did not work for me, but Protonix did. I wasn't able to keep anything down until my doctor changed me to the Protonix. Maybe you could ask for another kind or dose of PPI? I'm very sorry about your work situation. I've had a job that I hated and it was rough! I love my job now, but still dreading Monday. Praying things get better for you!
  11. You look great! And, congrats on your fitness accomplishments! How long have you been sleeved?

    9 Days After Surgery

I'm day 9 also, but I can only have mushy foods. I can eat about a 1/4 to 1/3 cup at a time, but that really just started yesterday. I'm mostly eating thick soups and re-fried beans.

    Hiccups!

Glad to know I'm not alone : ) It does seem to start just as I get full! I've had the runny nose too, but did not make the connection. Thanks for the feedback!

    Wls To Cure Infertility?

This is the reason I had the surgery too. I am only 8 days out, so I have a while to wait before I can try
  15. I had mine on 7/27. I didn't come home from the hospital until Monday, doing ok, but keep running low grade fever. How are you doing?

    Before And After Pics

    You look fantastic!
  17. My surgery was Friday, the 27th of July and I just came home from the hospital tonight. I am having some pretty intense pain when trying to breathe deeply. Could this just be gas?

    Help! Soda During Pre-Op Liquid?

I was allowed to drink soda during pre-op, but only diet soda! Sprite zero really helped get the magnesium citrate down the night before surgery.

    Breathing

Yes, I have been breathing into the device (probably just not enough) and walking. It is comforting to hear that I'm not the only one that has had this problem. How long did it take yours to resolve?
  20. I have Blue Cross AL and was approved with BMI 38.7. I do have type 2 diabetes, but that is my only other co-morb. On the sixth month "diet", I went up and down. My pcp warned me not to lose too much if I wanted the surgery. I was approved the same day they submitted it.

    Today Is My Day

Congrats! I'm not far behind you...let us know how it goes!
  22. How did your beta numbers look? High enough for twins?

    Frustrated Urhhh ... Venting..

Uhm, I dealt with the same type thing! I was told I would be able to have my surgery by the last week in June, but the whole paperwork/submitting stuff/communication between doctors really slowed things down! I started this process in November of '11. I literally had to call doctors offices everyday for three weeks to get things done! I feel your pain! My surgery is a week from today, so now it feels totally worth it!

    Ww (Weight Watchers)

Check with your insurance provider to be sure. With mine, you could do WW, but still had to see the doctor once a month. I just did the doctor diet, it was cheaper : )
