    I had my psych eval scheduled for September 10th; however' date=' the doctor's office called today and asked if they could get me in 3 weeks earlier - don't mind if I do!!!! :)

    Funny how things work out and start to fall together quickly. Here's hoping they can get me approved through insurance and on the surgery docket by the end of September - woot woot![/quote']

    Just got the call from the hospital. My check in time is at 6am this Monday!! I knew my day would be 8/6' date=' but wasn't sure if they would take me in the morning or afternoon. Can I tell you how relieved I am that it will be in the AM!!! It will make the day before a little less painful with having to be on only clear liquids. I will for sure savor every last drop of my last Protein Shake Saturday night. :lol:

    I only stay the one night in the hospital. Will hopefully be home and recuperating in my own bed by Tuesday afternoon.

    In other news, I hopped on the scale and it looks like of the 20 lbs I gained over the past 3 months, I lost 15 of them, which makes me appreciate the pre op diet that much more.

    My surgery date is August 9th' date=' Dr. Thomas Jones @ Methodist Hospital in St.Louis Park, Minnesota. Nice to see I'm not alone! So looking forward to making this journey w/ all of you. I start my 10-day pre-op Liquid Protein diet tomorrow. Let the countdown begin!!

    AaahRoo! I have a surgery date! I will be sleeved at last by Dr. Fernando Otero on August 14' date=' 2012 at John Muir Hospital-Concord Campus CA. I'm very excited of course!! I'm hoping to find other August sleevers to treck the journey with. I'm so ready to get this weighted ball rolling you just don't know...

    I've been putting on weight since the birth of my first child 20 years ago. Things really got out of hand when I seperated from the military in 2006. No limits,No mandatory runs,No mandatory weigh-ins makes Gr8rLuv a very big, bad girl :P !! Currently, I'm miserable...My joints-Achy wrists,back,hips,knees and ankles. sleep Apnea-I got it, Cpap-I wear it. I can't wait to get back to my normal...BMI,Weight, Activity,Sleep. I've lost enough time...I'm ready for the RESET button!![/quote']

    Hi I wanted to hear from people that have been sleeved over 2 years. Wanted to know how you are feeling? Any regrets? Aside from eating do hou feel and function as you did before being sleeved? Im scheduled for surgery on 6/20 my mind changes from day to day. Im not sure if i am just nervous or unsure of having surgey. I had the band for three years then removed last summer. Since then i have gained 50 lbs back and am miserable. My current weight is 225 and im 5'1and am looking to be a more ideal weight for my size. Any info would be great.

    Im a lil nervous now. It is on. I'm excited but the support of my family is lacking. Their negativity is starting to wear on me. Idk if this has happened to anybody else who went through this' date=' any advise would be appreciated. I feel like I can't lean on anyone for support. I know I'm better off having the surgery than not. I'll be healthier. But y can't my family see that? I guess I just needed to let that out.

    I chew a lot if gum. I will miss chewing it. I have enjoyed eating all the good food this week. Rip fatty foods. Rip volka' date=' tequila, gin, and wine. I will u. But we had 2 part bc u were killing me according to the doctors, news and tv.[/quote']

    I don't have my surgery until the oct but I see the dietician on the 28th I love my wine what will I do help

    So' date=' I have to be at the hospital at 5:30 am for surgery and all of a sudden I have gotten so nervous. I can't move out the bed. I need to clean my house, pack a bag for the hospital, etc... But I can't seem to grasp that tomorrow is the "Day". I keep thinking "what if I die during surgery"..."what if I go thru this and don't lose 1 pound" "what if that egg white I ate during my pre op liquid diet will delay surgery"??

    I haven't told many people that I'm having this surgery so I can't really call and express my concerns with alot of people.[/quote']

    You will be fine .where will you be having your surgery? Will it be in Mexico
