Does anyone know about any restrictions relating to coffee after being sleeved? I am a huge fan. i drink it black with no cream or sugar so I would not expect any caloric reasons. Obviously not something I am going to let be my deciding factor but, it would be sad to no longer have coffee. I am guessing it is not part of the 4 -6 week post operative diet but, I assume after that it can be reintroduced ?? I finally got my first appointment with the internist next week to start talking through process and gettting the insurnace portion setup. I hope everything goes well so we can get this proces underway. Thanks CR

Thanks for your encouragement. I plan to see this through and hope the insurance process moves speadily along. I have good insurance and according to them I prequalified/certified so now I am just waiting on GHP, the surgical team handeling the process. The medical world never moves as fast as I want it to move. Gene1970 good luck next Wednesday. I am sure that has to be an exciting and nervous time. Keep posting so we know how you are doing.

How did it go for you? I do not have a date scheduled yet as I am early in the insurance approval process but I hope to get a date yet this summer.
