Keep me informed when u get those results. Sorry your having issues too but maybe we can get to the bottom of it. At least I know now I'm not the only one.

I'm 6 months post op. I've lost around 80 lbs and I feel great. I haven't been this small since I got married. My husband is very into the new me but my sex drive is crazy low. Did anyone else have this issue? I'm 36 years old and way to young to be dealing with this right?

Surgery May 14th 272 to 209 63lbs down!

He might have heart burn, acid reflex. I was told that would cause the hunger feeling. I am taking medication which helps with the acid reflex. I was sleeved a little over a month ago and I had almost 2 week stall and have read TONS of people go through that. Good Luck. Remember when he does start losing again it might not be as fast. 2 lbs a week is a great goal.
This was the case we me also. It was heartburn not hunger.

We have similar stats I was wondering how much weight you lost pre surgery?

Surgery Date: May 14
Weight on surgery day: 272
Total loss: 55lbs
Some have lost more and some have lost less. All I know for sure is I couldn't have done this in four months without the SLEEVE.

. I do once in awhile. Sometimes it's that one bite too many. But to be fair I threw up a lot more before the sleeve because of overeating. Is anyone throwing up besides me I was sleeved may 24th

I used Dr Travis Goodnight in Van Buren. I was self pay and it cost me 12500 for everything.Hello, I am from Fort Smith and new to the forum. After much research, I am in the process of trying to schedule a date with Dr Garcia in Mexico. Any advise and/or input would be greatly appreciated.

It does get so much better. I'm at week 8 and I can eat anything but in very small amounts.

Everyone is soooo different with their flavor prefs! But...I'm a fan of the kiwi strawberry (reminds me of a tropical fru fru drink , Roadside Lemonade, caribbean cooler (though this one got old for me quick) because it tasted like a piña colada, and apple ecstasy. And the double stuffed cookie made with milk. Mmmmm
Where do you get the nectar brands?

Everyone is different. All of are different Begining weights and heights. Some of had fast recoveries and others not so fast. I'm sure age plays a factor also but the positive is that we are all smaller than when we started!

My doc told me to worry about liquids than Protein that early. I am 4 weeks and still don't like the Protein Drinks. Once you get a little ways down the road if you like shrimp I bought a bag of cooked at Walmart. It has 42 grams of protein for 6 oz. I wasn't a big shrimp eater before but it sure beats Protein Shakes. Good luck!

I stalled at 3 weeks out for about 10 days. I went on a little vacation and while I was gone I ate a small brownie and some lite popcorn and wham my stall broke. I ended up losing 5 pounds. Keep your chin up.

Me too! I'm down almost 80. I look and feel great. My sex drive is gone. Before surgery my husband and I were much more active. Could it be something to do with the hormones after weightless.
