You look amazing. I love your style. Keep up the good work.....
  2. Can we join the group? How?
  3. I don't know but I have a hard time explaining this. Thought I could get help here. I can't stand my shape. When I was heavier my highest 280lb it was like what ever fit I would buy. Also I felt I was to far gone and I didn't care. Now I feel like I am picking myself apart and I see every bump and wrinkle. Please don't get me wrong I am happy for the weight loss and I work out so much better and feel great I'm not tired. I really work out hard. It's the way I look. Please I'm not vein at all either. I know I've said this before everyone looks so happy taking pics buying new clothes and you all look great in the. I still feel like crap and don't even like looking in the mirror. I went to JC Penny the other day, first time going actual shopping since surgery and I wanted to cry. I hate my legs they look so flabby my arms too. I don't care about my stomach I will never show that but my legs always looked good before when I was heavy now they just hang and forget about the but it's gone. I do total body conditioning and squats like crazy but I just don't have it. I'm going on Vacation for the first time in 5 years next week and I'm freaking out. All I want is cover ups and pants.
  4. Thanks guys I knew you would all know what I'm talking about. Nobody understands me they all think I'm crazy I should be going out shopping and taking tons of pics, partying and I'm still just doing the face shots. I don't like the body shots. I want to through someone in front of me to hide. I guess it will all take time. Well I'll see what happens on Vacation. I haven't seen some of these people in 5yrs so I'm sure I'll feel very insecure the first couple of days. Maybe a tan on these tree trunks will help hide the dimples. Thanks again,,

    Any one have regrets!

Here is the before and about a month ago. My hair is up today so I don't have a good pic for today. The next time I blow it out I will post it. Don't let it stop you. I'm down 62lb and feel great. You would have been sleeved around the same time as me and I am a slow looser. No pressure and I'm not saying it to make you feel bad but time is short. I hope it helps.

    Any one have regrets!

I was sleeved on 9/5. I started loosing hair around 4 months posted pics of it but it wasn't bad at all I think I freaked myself out. Now over 7months out and nothing, it stopped last month all back to normal and it feels so much healthier like what fell out was old and dry anyway. I also never stopped getting my foils every 6weeks. If that's the only thing you are really scared of, don't be. It is all worth it....

    Newbie from Boston MA

I'm from Boston. Had my surgery at Boston Medical Dr. Hess. It will fly by I was sleeved 9/5/12.. BTW I'm married to a Dominican so definitely know about the carbs...
  12. Everyone has told me to buy new clothes but I when I wear them I feel fat. I prefer the loose fitting clothes maybe to still hide but it makes me feel skinnier. When the clothes fit I see all the bumps and rolls. It also reminds me of how uncomfortable I was before when I got dressed and nothing fit. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I see everyone taking these great pics with nice sexy outfits but I just don't feel comfortable in something that is fitted or even a little tight.

    Has anyone lost there hair?

Like they said I too was really worried. I'm almost 7 months and it's stopped falling out. It was coming out a lot and I started to freak out around 5 months but now it's fine. I actually like it better now because all the dead dry hair from coloring all these years seems to be gone and it's so easy to do 30 min to blow it out instead of 1 hour. My profile pic is from last week so judge for yourself. I never cut it short and kept coloring it as well. Good luck, don't stress that might make it fall out.
  14. I'm in... 185 current weight is 204..

I was so bad in the begining. I would cry on the toilot. Now I'm good I go everyday it's actually better than before the sleeve and I'm 6months out. Don't worry it will pass but it is a pain in the @&&...
  17. I'm still waiting. I can't wait to have one. For now I will enjoy reading everyone else's.

    Coffee

It helps keep things moving. I've been drinking a med iced from DD cream and 1 shot of dark mocha no sugar since I was 2 months out no problems.

    Great job......
  23. I feel so bad for you. I have the same feeling when my family or friends say lets go out to dinner. It's tough but we just have to get used to it. It's funny because before I never liked to eat in front of people, now I want to but just can't. I hope you get to go out again with the outfit, maybe dancing instead.
