Hello, I also am scheduled for May15th...... I wish you the best......this has been a long time coming for me. I am so excited and so ready for surgery. I started my liquid diet on Wednesday the 9th. Just wondered how all of those that have been sleeved are doing?
I am doing fantastic. Keep wondering if Dr Kelly really did do a surgery as I feel so good. But when I go to stand up I feel a tiny bit of tenderness & then remember I did have an operation!
Glad I can have some fluids now. Going to go out for chicken broth soon. Yum!
My incisions look very healthy, but one is kind of looking a bit open, but not leaking or anything. So guess it is fine, but will check with the Dr.
Have pain meds, which I haven't taken yet & will also check if I have to take them or only if needed. Then an antibiotic & something else for the stomach healing.
So good to be on the other side now!!!

I have heard you can drive again once you are off the pain meds, so people posted that was normally after about 1 week!
Congrats on getting a surgery date, I am May 10th, so just before you!

I didn't really have a grand last meal, I just are whatever I wanted for the preceding month - if I felt like a KitKat or an ice cream bar, I'd just have one! Put on like 10 lbs in a month, lol.

Help I am having my surgury on May 15th..... How bad are the scars.?.. How many cuts? Is you belly gross? Did you get sick on the next day? Also how long before you could drive? Hope to hear from you. Plus congrats on your progress.
