We have arrived. The flights were long and overcrowded. I know that going home is going to be so much worse...but oh well we will worry about that when we get there. Samuel was very nice and got us here in one piece...although I cant say much for the crazy drivers around us. The hotel and the hotel staff are wonderful!!! I am starvin like marvin but since I can't eat, I am going to watch my mother eat her food while I gooble down some good ole fashioned chicken broth...yummy right...urgh... I did meet up with Laura and her mom and she looks good!!!! Very nice!!! Off to eat/drink my food...and then nap time...cause I am TI-RED.

We are on the plane and awaiting departure!!! It is definitely so real now!!! My stomach is in fits and i still can't understand how I can use the bathroom so much on an empty stomach.... I guess I am poo'ing out all these nerves lol. Sorry tmi without a warning... Pray for us please!

Im not a pro and I am pre op but doesnt that have a lot of carbs in it for one serving??? And it doesnt meet 1/2 of most daily protein requirements within that one serving... I hope some of the experts chime in though. I have these shakes as well and they are pretty good!

Fortunately, I only have two little ones (3 years and 18 months). I know they wont understand, but I think that the older ones will help me with that. I have already explained to all of them that mommy is going to be really sore when I get home and wont have the energy that I used to have (which isnt much) but pretty soon, I will be even better than before.... so I have enlisted the help of the 16 and 13 year old to help out in that department

I plan to since it is not often that I have quiet time...with seven kids and a dog running around the house!!!

I hold mine with my hand lol. of course none of my videos are longer than 5 minutes .... and it sounds like you have a great phone for taking videos...try it out... I am sure it will do great

What type of phone do you have? I use my Iphone for my videos...and when that is not around, I used my computer which has a camera installed.

We leave in exactly 10 hours to fly out to San Diego. I am nothing but a ball of nerves right now. I have a few things that I need to get done before we leave out at 3 am, but I cant seem to get moving.... My stomach hurts... *TMI ALERT* but when I get nervous I get the beegee (aka bubble guppies aka bubble guts aka the sh**s)...and I know before we leave I will be paying several trips to the bathroom... Help me calm down... I know I want this surgery...have no issues with going to Mexico....so what is the matter with me?

I hope that things start to ease up for you. My surgery is Tuesday! Arriving at the hotel tomorrow...cant wait..although I am getting a bout of nerves now... OMG

I hear about alot of people being zapped (no energy) for a few weeks after surgery. You may want to take that into consideration as well. congrats on your approval!

I did the same thing last weekend. Although I didnt regret it because it was sooooo good. On to better and healthier things now!!! I hope you do better on your pre-op diet than I did on mine. At least yours is only three days...

I'm not from the south but my grandparents are. My mother makes the best grits and I love them!!! Ummm I want some now!

I have one already from a previous surgery and it's already packed in my bag!!! It definitely helps!
