So back to work today and I slept weird and have messed up my back. Can I not get a single day pain-free????!

I'm tired and a wee sore, but I am continually astounded by how smooth my recovery has been so far.

I have my arrival time for my surgery tomorrow: 6:45 am. I guess I will be up bright and early!

I had my IVC Filter surgery yesterday. It went well and my surgeon and the entire staff were awesome. I'm a bit more relaxed for next weeks' surgery now...at least I know what pre op will be like.

Had pre-op education class last night. Will be expected to breathe into the tubey-think 10 times a day, do isometric exercises (in bed and standing) two to three times per day, plus walk a minimum of four to six times per day. Phew. I'll need recovery time from my recovery time. LOL.

Day One of my pre-op diet...and I'm hungry. Head hunger, though, I think. It's going to be a long three weeks.

*Still* no call to schedule my surgery date. Phoned yesterday. Call and harrass them again? Or give them another day to call me back. Decisions.

*tap tap tap* I'm getting impatient. My psych eval results have been sent to the surgeon's office and now I'm just waiting for them to call me so I can pay and get a date. Grrr.

Psych Eval today. Fingers crossed that it goes well and she gets her report into the Dr. quickly.
