  1. That's his "fear of chihuahuas" look.
  2. Darn, you guys are making me feel good! I might have to contact the members of my old rock band, The Spyders, and get the band back together! We might have to rename it though, ....The Spyder Veins?

Stuggling, need help with head hunger!

I'd like to put a plug in for natural Peanut Butter, the kind that must be mixed and then refrigerated. I get a small bowl of it and use thick pretzel sticks to dip it out. Hits the spot just about every time. Lots of good fats and Protein. Here's a big build-up on a bodybuilder's website: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/other31.htm

    I Need a Clothespin!

Bring your own lunch that is smellier, overpower them. Maybe garlic sardine soup with a side of steamed broccoli smothered in Limburger cheese.

I wonder who is the "farthest out" member here. Mods?
  7. Missy constantly gave her best friend Janet a hard time about her vertical sleeve operation. Although Janet was losing weight and feeling good, Missy relished pointing out that Janet took the "easy way out' and should have had enough will power to lose weight "the normal way". Janet loved her life-long friend Missy but was thinking about dumping her as a friend because of the abuse. A strange light awoke Missy one night and a feeling of travelling very fast came over her. It only lasted about 10 seconds. Missy shrugged it off and went back to sleep. When she went to her refrigerator the next morning it was nearly empty. When she walked outside she found an odd futuristic setting, nothing was the same. She tried to find out what was happening from her strange neighbors but they refused to talk to her and appeared angry. She found her way to the indoctrination center that had replaced the library and accessed the computer. She discovered she was in the year 2514, there had been a huge food shortage, the world government "encouraged" everyone to get a Vertical Sleeve Gastronomy to cut down on food use. Those who refused were treated as selfish pigs and called glutton bellies and enemies of the people. They were accused of taking "the easy way out" and were shunned because they refused to do things "the normal way". Missy went to the bathroom and checked her belly, no scars like Janet had, she was in trouble. She woke up in a cold sweat. Food was in the fridge, back to 2013, it was all a dream. She called Janet and arranged a lunch date and then called a florist to surprise her at work. Janet got her friend back, Missy woke up.

    catheter?

Mine was put in after I was knocked out. When I woke up a few seconds later, ( that's what it seems like with anesthetic), it was there. When I was being treated for prostate cancer I had to wear a bag with a cath for a couple weeks. The catheter was a larger tube and was not pleasant. I was overjoyed when it was removed. The removal of the catheter after the sleeving was not painful, just weird feeling.

    best green superfood powder?

What a great mix! Got to be pretty expensive and finding all that would be a problem for me, I think. You live in S. Cal.?

    best green superfood powder?

I ended up buying the Amazing Grass Green Superfood at Amazon. $33.60 for 60 servings, free shipping,(I am a Prime member), gets here Friday. It was a hard choice between it and the ORAC but 20 bucks cheaper got to me. I've never had anything like this before but I am normally pretty tough with drinking vile things. I used to chug down shots of green tea extract powder and water, gut-wrenching revolting! I may mix it with juiced parsley, kale, and apple just for fun.

    best green superfood powder?

I checked it out. Looks amazing! Wife and I are teetering on the edge of buying it. It has been good for you? The Amazing Grass Green Superfood looks good too and is a bit cheaper.

    best green superfood powder?

Good thinking, Fiddleman. It seems by the responses thus far not too many have expertise on green super foods. Alas, neither do I. Have you considered juicing? Parsley, turnip greens, dandelion greens, etc. could be juiced with a bit of apple and made into a water substitute. Just an idea I have been toying with since I already have a juicer.

    It works body wraps.

SarahRER, All of that stuff I posted did not mean I thought they wouldn't work as advertised. It's just that wishful thinking me has been sucked into more multi-level marketing product promotions than I am proud to talk about. I know how difficult getting such a business started is, to the tune of thousands. I like to see the science behind things, anecdotal "evidence" doesn't hold much sway with me. More power to you.

Over a year out and still bringing up air after drinking. It starts as a gurgle and I force it out. The only good gas is an out gas. Buy some swamp land in Florida, build a house, let the frogs drown you out.

    fun thread

From my waist up side view I looked like an exaggerated small case letter b. Now I look like a burned down candle, wax collecting at the hips
  20. ..and no toaster, either! I will save it for the next wedding shower!
  21. I take it more as rating the work you have done on your profile. Some folks never make any improvements which is OK if that floats your boat. I am not concerned about retaining my 5 star rating anymore so I discontinued the free toaster give away.
  22. Wow, Sami, big congratulations to you!!!!! I understand the grandkid motivation. I went from poor old grandpa that had to be pushed in a chair around the theme parks and could not fit on a roller coaster seat to fast walking, live-wire grampa who rides everything and gets to see the smiles on their faces and hear their laughter because of it. Doing is better than watching, outside is better than inside, having fun is better than witnessing fun.

    gaining weight...help!

Your program looks good to me. I would just tell you that I gained many times through my overall decline into goal weight. It was like... lose, same, same, gain, same, lose, lose, same, same ,same, gain, lose,lose...etc.. Eventually the losing overcame the saming and gaining. I am sure some others will have helpful advice. You are not destined to be fat. The picture you have in your mind for yourself is attainable and IS your destiny. You have a powerful tool, science is on your side. How are your clothes fitting? I have been stalled at around 220 for months now and amazingly my clothes still keep getting too big. At times I gain up to 3 pounds and then go down again. I have kicked in a muscle-building program and I am not suprised. For it's weight muscle is more dense and therefore takes up less space than an equal weight of fat. My composition is changing. Yours will too.

All I do is think about the gym

Some folks might argue that exercise addiction is a good addiction but I think it can become a problem. In the past I have been obsessed with it and ran down my health due to over training. Also, anything obsessed about takes it's energy from some other part of your life, things in your life that need to be at a higher priority. God, family, work, health, all need your attention. As previously stated, I limit myself to 40 minutes, 3 times a week. I am somewhat flexible but that is my default. Add to that occasional times of research and pondering what to do and that is my program. I have had gym memberships in the past but found that the time spent travelling to and preparing for the gym was better spent just exercising. The results I can get at home compare to the ones that the gym affords me. In this equation is the factor that I am 64, have been through cancer treatment, and must conserve my life forces.

All I do is think about the gym

I do think about exercise quite a bit. I don't go to a gym, I do everything at home. I give myself 40 minutes at least 3 times a week to implement an effective strategy to get in optimal shape. My philosphy is exercise smart over exercise long. No running down my health by overtraining which I have done in the past. This is for the rest of my life. I have a combination of aerobic and strength/muscle building exercises. I change them around and am open to new things that I determine would be effective. I build my eating and supplement program around my physical training. My biggest struggle right now is getting sleep. I am doing animal packs on workout days and it seems to be helping.
